Racing through the shadows of the forest, Tommy and Y/N escaped out of the borders of the smp. It felt as though they had been running for hours on end, when in reality it must have been roughly 15 minutes. Neither of them once slowed down to catch their breath - they just wanted to escape far from the base back to where they could be safe from the dangers around them. Their lungs felt intoxicated, and the air around them tasted dry, like it wasn't actually reaching their throats. Luckily for them, the familiar, tall walls came into view through the gaps in the trees. Home.

Tommy slowed down his pace, causing Y/N to slow down too and stop at a large tree. His back slid down against the bark, with his hair matted against his forehead, completely drenched and sticky. Mirroring his actions, the H/C haired girl tugged at the neck of her shirt, hoping that at least some cool air could finally reach their bodies. They were both completely and utterly exhausted.

"Jesus Christ... I forgot how far the journey is from here..." Tommy breathed out, his hand dragging across his forehead to clear the beads of sweat trailing down. Humming in agreement, Y/N rested the back of her head against the rough bark of the tree, letting out short and quiet pants as she tried to recover her energy. They both laid like that for a few minutes, as well as keeping track on sounds around them to make sure they weren't being followed, when Tommy finally spoke up.

"Where the hell is-"

"BIG MAN!"

He immediately quietened down, listening out for any other noises to check if he heard it correctly, when it sounded again - but this time, closer and a little less muffled. Big man? What the heck? Y/N looked down at the ground, trying to recall any information that could help her figure out what it meant. Why on earth would someone be shouting big man?

The realisation hit her like a brick. Her face fell and paled, as she spun around to face Tommy, who returned with the same look of fear and concern.

"Tubbo..." He finished, his brows furrowed and frowns deepened.

They sped off in the direction they heard the voice, trying to follow after the boy and save him from whatever he might be facing. It was the warning they had planned for the boy to call out when the plan would fall into motion like it had now. She couldn't believe that she could forgotten it. Horrible thoughts began to eat away at their minds, only imagining the worst case scenarios. From what they both knew and had experienced, the Dream Team were pretty ruthless.

Soon enough, the small 16 year-old came into view, running faster than either of them had ever seen before. The two stopped in their tracks as they saw him running straight at them at a fast pace. Tilting their heads, they noticed the boy's strange hand movements, waving his arms ferociously above his head in a worried manner. He was unable to form any words due to his restless panting and the fear of being any louder than he already was - the last thing he wanted right now was to bring any more attention to himself.

Soon enough, three more forms emerged from over the hill, running just as fast and just as close, spiking fear in the duos's eyes. The Dream Team. They were loaded with an unsettling amount of weapons and gear, making them even more intimidating than they already were. Grabbing Y/N's hand, Tommy quickly tugged the girl along, breaking her from her small trance so they could escape. The three sprinted away towards the gates of L'manburg, hoping to make it back to safety.

"Shit..." she muttered under her breath after taking a quick glance behind her to check on Tubbo. The boys behind were gaining on them, and fast. If they didn't pick up the pace sooner or later, they'd be good as dead. Swinging a wrist behind her, Y/N grabbed a hold of Tubbo, quickly tugging him along so he could keep up with her and stick together. He stumbled a bit on his feet, but managed to maintain his ground, his legs moving a little quicker too.
