"Y/N?"

After their brief and very unexpected interaction, they quickly made the wise decision to head back home to Wilbur. Tommy still seemed persistent on heading to L'manburg to retrieve bandages, despite the warning and threats he had been given but thankfully, the twins had brought some medical supplies of their own, half-expecting a situation like this to have occurred. The news was enough to put Tommy at a better ease, despite him still struggling to come to terms with Y/N's unexpected arrival. They had abandoned Dream's unconscious body in the depths of the woods, not bothering to do so much as move him or anything. It wasn't like he deserved better treatment, anyway. As of now, Y/N and Tommy sat upon his horse's back whilst Techno walked in front, guiding them by tugging the reins. He mentioned something about being a 'Human GPS', or whatever he called it.

They walked in silence for the first few minutes of the journey, with mostly just Y/N and Tommy taking in the reality of their situation and seeing each other again. A year. It had been an entire year, and yet neither had hardly exchanged any words to one another. They had so many things they wanted to talk about, but they couldn't find the right words to say them. It was just a pretty shit situation they were in right now. Finally, Tommy found the courage to find his voice and bring up one of the questions that had been burning in his mind.

"How did you know?" He asked curiously, craning his head so he could face the girl behind him. She shot him a confused stare, not fully understanding his words at first whilst he looked at her expectantly.

"What do you mean?" She responded, furrowing her brows in confusion. He shot a strange look, as if silently asking her how she didn't know what he meant as it was pretty clear that he didn't address the letter to her.

"Well, I mean... how did you know?" He asked again perking a single brow as if it was obvious, "I'm pretty sure I'd remember if I sent you a letter or not, not to mention I don't even know where I would even send that letter. How did you know that we needed your help?" Y/N raised her own brows at this before the realisation hit her. He still didn't know... she smiled nervously, shooting the boy a somewhat apologetic look whilst his remained confused as ever.

"Remember when I said I left to find my brother?" She asked, chuckling at his clueless face as he took in her words. He nodded slightly, his brows still drawn together.

"Yeah, of course. You said you got coordinates to his location and.... oh..." As soon as the realisation hit him, Y/N couldn't help but laugh and shake her head at his expression. The once fairly confused face almost instantly morphed into one of shock, his eyes darting between the two in disbelief. His face was beyond priceless.

"I- YOU'RE RELATED?! How come neither of you ever told me?! I've known you both for years, how did I only just find out, WHAT?!" He ranted, his arms waving about frustratedly as if it would express his feelings further. Techno couldn't help but let out a low chuckle, his eyes still trained ahead of him despite most of his attention being directed towards their conversation.

"You never asked." He merely commented, shrugging his shoulders with an everlasting smirk on his face.

Tommy continued to grumble and complain on their whole journey home, until they finally arrived at the cave's entrance. He practically forgot what he was previously ranting about mere seconds ago, instead he hurriedly climbed off the horse and went ahead to take the lead. He shifted the vines aside that worked as their front door's disguise and allowed them to walk ahead of him, a smile appearing on his face at their intrigued expressions.
