While Takino had to wait for his clothes, you had the perfect opportunity to talk to Yuzuriha. You walked back to the territory and found Yuzuriha in her little cave where she always made clothes for the people Tsukasa revived.
Right now everyone thought you were exercising like you usually did after eating so it was perfect for you to unknowingly talk to her. As you entered the cave, Yuzuriha noticed you and smiled at you happily. "Maddy! It's you! Does someone needs clothes again?" She asked and you looked around you. Yuzuriha noticed you were rather serious and her face frowned to a worried expression.
"No one is watching. No one is near." You whispered and looked at her. "Yuzuriha, I need clothes for Nishino Takino, the guy that joined us four in the ice cream shop that day." You told her and her eyes widened in shock. "Takino-kun??" She started to whisper. "Y/n, you managed to revive Takino-kun?" She asked and you nodded.
"I remembered how he told me about his knowledge about engines and machinery, this is why we need him. He would definitely be useful." You explained and Yuzuriha gave you a gentle smile. "You are as dedicated and straightforward as Senku-kun..." She noticed and you felt your heart jump a little, but you shrugged it off. "Anyway, now it's time for us two to finally talk. You wanted to talk to me, Yuzuriha but I couldn't meet you alone until now." You told her and she nodded.
"Right. Well, Y/n, Senku-kun told us about your mother. She knows about what happened... And Senku, after he dealt with Tsukasa, plans to dig up our time capsule and to revive your parents. Senku told us about the letters your mother had written and they included some important clues. Maybe your dad also knew something! They know more than we do and it would help us a lot-" You interrupted her midway.
"They both are dead, Yuzuriha." You clarified and looked down. Yuzuriha gasped in shock and remained speechless. You took a deep breath and took yourself some seconds to continue. "...They were murdered the day we buried the time capsule..." You continued. "Senku walked me home and left before I entered my home... As soon as I entered and noticed that no one was greeting me, I knew something was wrong..."
Your vision got blurrier and you felt a tear run down your cheek. "I found both of them with a hole in their foreheads... My mother was still holding my father in her arms, her cheeks reflecting the light in the living room with her tears..." You smiled and felt your voice starting to crack. "She was pregnant, Yuzuriha."
Soon you felt how she hugged you. You heard her sob and that was what made you lose your self-control, causing you to finally cry and return her hug... You were on your own for 3718 years, plus one year of survival, all alone. Unable to cry for your loss for such a long time. And after so many years... You finally could properly cry over them... "I'm so sorry, Y/n..." she whispered with a strained voice and continued to cry.
