MARIE

I dreamt of Alex, completely covered in blood. It was like that movie Carrie where she gets a bucket of blood dumped on her. She was screaming at me, and I could feel her anger so much that my own body was sweating. I also dreamt she was giving head to Bill, and that clown....Pennywise...

A rebel shook me awake. I sat up alarmed. I was indeed sweating as my sleeping bag was damp.

"Miss, Hux is waiting for you outside for your rebel training," he informed me and left.

I looked over onto his bed. There were clothes laid out for me. I hesitated but ended up putting them on.

The sun felt really good on my face. It was a sense of peace I had not felt in a while. There was this docking area outdoors with all these little ships. There was crowds of rebels all over me, rushing around, starting up their ships I think. I got a little overwhelmed.

"Your space is over here,"

I turned to see Hux standing in the grass, waiting for me to follow him.

We walked for about 10 minutes in silence. In the field we were walking in, we passed a group of kids, learning how to shoot a blaster.

"Are they..." I asked.

"All fighters are trained from birth," Hux replied without looking back at me, "Both the light and darkside do this."

"Oh..." I responded, disappointed to see children not having fun.

We came to this small meadow that looked out onto the rebel base. Hux reached into his long coat and pulled out my light saber.

"I'm going to show you how to use your bond, more powerfully." He remarked at me.

I stepped back, "How do you know about our bond...."

Hux didn't seem to expect me to say that, then he flashed a grin a little too creepy.

"You talk in your sleep Marie, quite a bit,"

I was convinced, "Well it's probably no use now. She hates my guts. I don't even feel it anymore,"

He suddenly looked angry, quickly walking toward me. "Don't you dare say that. You better still have it, it's the most powerful thing you will ever have."

I stepped back from him, a little scared from his sudden mood change.

Hux looked regretful from it, taking a deep breath and stepping back, "I'm sorry Marie, it's just we really need your help. The rebels are counting on us to work together."

Something didn't feel right, but Hux genuinely looked like he changed himself. I wanted Alex to be at peace, and if it meant working with this guy, then fine. I didn't care about Kylo though, just Alex.

"Okay," he said, holding the saber up to me again, "You're going to use that bond power, and take the saber from my hand."

"That would involve thinking about Alex," I said.

"Then think about her," he remarked.

I rolled my eyes, then stared at the saber in concentration. I thought about Alex not being a murderer anymore, being back on earth, safe. Just us...

The saber shook a little in Hux's hand, but did not move.

"Hux, I don't really move stuff like the force," I said, "It's more of a...like...I can feel her and where she is."
