Manik left from there frowning and went to his study leaving his juice and food unfinished on the plate.
Nandini looked at him heading towards his study, then at his plate.
"Jealous.." Nakuul replied.
"Do you think so?" Nandini asked confused, "But why would he be jealous of you? You have your girlfriend too and.."
"Did you tell him about me and Anika?" Nakuul asked.
Nandini nodded sideways widening her eyes, "I didn't.. he is jealous.. oh my God, he is jealous!!!"
"Yeah he is, what's there to be shocked about?" Nakuul chuckled.
"He is jealous.. don't you get what it means? He never felt jealous of me being close to a man before.. but he did today.. it is said when a man is jealous of a girl being close to another man other than him means he loves that girl.. so it's possible that Manik is falling in love with me.." Nandini smiled whispering to Nakuul while explaining him.
"But he is your husband.. doesn't he love you already?" Nakuul asked confused.
"He doesn't believe in love.. he only said to me that he trusts me a lot but never confessed his love to me.." Nandini said.
"Does that mean from the day you guys got married he never said I love you to you?" Nakuul widened his eyes.
"Nahin.. but love doesn't need words to be felt.. see even he doesn't know that what he doesn't want to happen, already happened.. he already fell in love with me!" Nandini said.
"That's true also.." Nakuul nodded, "I will get going because Anika is calling me!"
"Okay bye.." Nandini waved at him smiling.
"Bye.. get well soon!" he patted her head as he stood up.
"Is everything alright between you and Anika now? See I forgot to ask.." Nandini asked hitting her forehead.
"Yes, we are back together thanks to you Nandini.. Anika is so excited to meet you now.. why don't we go on a dinner date with your jealous husband?" Nakuul asked.
"Sure.. that's a great idea!" Nandini nodded smiling.
Nakuul left from there meanwhile Nandini started screaming Manik's name.
Manik came to the dining hall in hurry and worried for her, "What happened?"
Nandini open her arms pouting asking him to lift her.
Manik lifted her in one move, walking towards the living room, "What happened?"
Nandini smiled staring at his face, the cute jealousy frown was intact on his face, he was trying to show that he was angry but his care for her won over him.
Nandini kissed his cheek soundly, "Nakuul is just my friend.."
"I know.." Manik shrugged and made her comfortable on couch switching on the TV for her.
"Then why did you left suddenly?" Nandini asked smirking.
"Important work!" he replied curtly and sat beside her deliberately not keeping eye contact with her as he changed the channels.
