Surpent Hunt S3E10 (Part 1)

"Have a whiff of poison, turtle scum." Fishface said and threw a poison ball down and Raph and Leo stopped running toward the two mutants. Mikey, Donnie and Raph started running up the stairs and Mikey started fanning the air down so they could breathe clean air. Raph ran back down to get Leo. He got to Leo and he was coughing, still standing in the middle of the thick gas. Raph touched him and said, "(cough, cough) come on, we gotta move." Raph guided Leo to the stairs and Leo was running up and started coughing again and slowed down and almost fell. Raph helped him the last few steps to where Mikey was fanning down the poison and they stood behind him. Donnie saw Leo's condition and started fanning too. Raph put his hand on Leo's back as he slumped over and had a coughing fit for a while. "Can't let them...(cough cough cough cough)...get away." Leo said and Raph rolled his eyes. "Leo why don't you breathe first. Then we can worry about Karai." Raph said and Donnie and Mikey walked over after the warehouse was clear of the poison and Donnie forced Leo to sit down no matter how much he refused it. "Are you ok Leo ?" Donnie asked and Leo just kept coughing and he stopped for a second and Donnie held up his hand in front of Leo's face and said, "How many hands do you see ?" Leo looked at Donnie's hand and pushed it away only to start coughing again. "Mikey, help him up on the left, Raph on his right." Donnie said and Mikey and Raph tried to help Leo but Leo pushed them off. "Leo, we have to get you into fresh air." Raph said and Leo got to his feet on his own and wobbled a bit and started coughing so much he wrapped his right arm around his stomach/plastron, and coughed into his fist and almost fell if it weren't for Donnie who caught him and grabbed his upper arm and Raph grabbed his other one and they escorted Leo out as he coughed mercilessly. They got Leo out and onto the roof of the building and he was still coughing. "Maybe we should take you back to MS Leo..." Donnie started and Leo shook his head no and kept coughing into his fist like before. Then they heard a familiar voice come from below them. "Guys ? Is that you ?" Mikey and Raph peeked over the side of the building to see April and Casey standing there looking up in their general direction. "April ! Casey ! Come up !" Mikey said and the two teens got up to the rooftop and started talking to Raph and Mikey. Not noticing Donnie and Leo across the large roof with Leo on his hands and knees with his head behind a cooling unit thing, and Donnie next to him rubbing his shell/back talking to him soothingly. "Omg ! What happened ?" April asked as she ran to Donnie and Leo. Before she reached Leo, Donnie stood up and held her back so that she didn't get to Leo. "I would let him have his space for a moment or two." Donnie said to her as Mikey, Raph and Casey appeared behind her. They all looked at Leo questioningly. "What's going on ?" April asked. "Did he really cough that much ?" Raph asked and Donnie looked back at Leo sadly and said, "Yeah. His coughing sounded dry though so that's good." Donnie explained and Casey asked, "Why was he coughing so much ?" "It's all thanks to fishface and his poison ball of gas." Donnie said and Mikey walked over behind Donnie over to Leo. "So he's throwing up ?" Casey asked and April looked sad. "Yeah, he doesn't like anyone around when he's sick like this. That's why I held you back April, for your own safety." Donnie said sarcastic and serious at the same time. "So what are we going to do ?" April asked looking at Leo who was now sitting up against Mikey who held his oldest brother in a protective grip in his arms as Leo groaned and closed his eyes tight. "We need to get him somewhere safe so we don't get ambushed." Raph said and Donnie nodded his head along with Mikey. Raph walked over to Leo and sat him up but he was too weak to sit up so Raph laid Leo in his arms and said, "We're getting you out of here Leo." Raph helped Leo up with Mikey's help and they walked slowly back to the pizza joint dodging Kraang droids.

They had to stop halfway there because Leo's stomach gave in and he threw up a lot more. They finally got back and MS was waiting in the front pacing. "My sons !" He said and they rushed in with Leo still moaning and his eyes tightly shut. They laid him on the couch and MS went to his face and touched his forehead. "He is extremely hot. Donatello, what happened ?" MS asked and Donnie explained everything that happened. "Leonardo's condition is not too severe." MS said. "He got some of the poison air in his lungs as did the three of you. But Leonardo was exposed to more of it in a thicker atmosphere. It got into his system and is working its way through his body. Apparently is has stopped in his lungs and chest. Creating the dry coughing you claim to be hearing hearing Donatello. But all his coughing is setting off his stomach. Which is making him sick." MS explained as he used a wet washcloth, April had brought from the kitchen area, to wipe Leo's face and chest right before his shell. Then there was a bang on the door. MS jumped along with everyone else. "Raphael, kept applying this washcloth to your brother's chest. Donatello and Casey come with me." MS said and Donnie and Casey went with MS. Raph kept wiping Leo's chest with the washcloth then occasionally looked up to his eyes that were shut. Raph noticed Leo was struggling to catch his breath because he was kinda freaking out. Raph put the washcloth into his other hand and put his shaky hand on Leo's head soothingly trying to calm down his older brother. April smiled at Raph and he noticed she was watching him and blushed a bit. Mikey looked down at Leo just in time to see Leo wince and fly forward and sat up clutching his stomach and started coughing again. "Easy bro." Mikey said patting Leo's back on the opposite side that Raph had his hand on Leo's back holding him up. "April get him some water." Raph said and April nodded and came back with a glass of water and handed it to Raph who pressed it to Leo's lips after he stopped coughing and Leo wouldn't drink it. "Leo, you should drink some water." Raph said and pressed the cup into Leo's lips again and Leo still wouldn't drink it. "Leo, drink it." April said and MS, Casey and Donnie walked back in. MS and Donnie went right for Raph and Leo. MS kneeled on the ground and Donnie stood near Leo's head. "How is he doing Raphael ?" MS asked as Leo laid back down and Raph took the cup and shoved it at Donnie and said, "Stubborn as shell." Raph looked worried and peeved at the same time. Then Leo had another coughing fit but MS got to hear it this time. "He won't drink the water." April said and MS looked at April then his blue bandana stubborn son. "Leonardo why won't you drink it ?" MS asked and Leo moaned, curled into a ball, and turned away from MS so he was now facing the back of the couch and where April, Mikey and Casey were standing. April rubbed Leo's head as he groaned and MS looked sad for his son in pain and he couldn't do anything. "His poison has rested in his bloodstream." MS said and got up and went to the other room and everyone was confused. A few minutes of Leo moaning, and Raph had gotten a bucket from the bathroom and brought it out for Leo in case he threw up. Leo sat up and got the bucket and coughed twice before getting sick in the yellow bucket. Leo threw up five times then Raph sat on his left and Donnie on his right, with April on the other side of Raph, and Casey stood in his original spot behind the couch. A little while later, MS walked back in. "Casey, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael, I want you to go out and find Karai. Bring her back at any cost." MS said. They all nodded and Donnie and Casey got Raph's arms, because he didn't want to leave Leo in his condition, and led him outside. MS and April stayed with Leo and April stayed where she was sitting and Leo laid down with his head in her lap as she massaged his shoulders and mid back to help him relax and sleep.
