Cosmic Ocean S4E9 (Part 2)

After everyone has had a chance to rest, Fugatoid went back into the infirmary to see Donnie awake and checking on his brothers. Leo is still unconscious and Raph is still kinda sore.

April is helping Casey keep Raph in bed with the heating pads on his sore areas.

Mikey is currently having his shell buffed and complaining...even more than usual.

The Professor entered the infirmary and greeted everyone a good morning and headed over to check on Leo.

Everyone was too tired from the battle to fully check Leo over, and Fugatoid felt horrible for leaving Leonardo like that. But his energy levels were low and he had no choice.

"Greetings my friends !"

He greeted warmly and smiled at everyone.

April turned with a smile on her face and returned the greeting.

"Hey Professor."

She said and looked back to Raph and Casey.

Donnie didn't move his head or eyes from the task in front of him, because if he did then he might seriously hurt Mikey.

"Hi"

Donnie greeted and sighed as he finished and put the buffer away.

Mikey grinned as he moved around and got up, despite Donnie being a helicopter brother.

"Take it easy Mikey. Please. Let me help. Slow down ! Wait !"

Donnie helped Mikey walk around the ship and soon returned to see Fugatiod was done assessing Leo.

Mikey and Donnie stood beside the Professor and waited for an answer about their older brother as Raph pushed April and Casey away and walked over and stood with his two little brothers.

"Leonardo is fine."

Everyone sighed loudly in relief and smiled at each other.

Raph let out a breath and basically collapsed into Donnie as his brainy brother's ninja skills worked in his favor. Or else Raphael would be tasting the floor right about now. (😆)

Raph was finally letting his body relax and finally accept the help he needed knowing Leo was gonna be ok.

"But-"

Fugatiod started and everyone held their breath.

"His carapace was fractured and I will need to place metal bars in the fracture where the piece is missing and he should be on his feet within the next week or so."

The Professor explained and Mikey, Raph, Casey and April could see the wheels turning in Donnie's head.

"Mike, help me."

Raph said and Mikey helped his red banded brother back to his bed to rest his muscles.

"But he'll be ok. Right Professor ?"

April asked and sighed when she received a nod.

"Oh most definitely. But he'll be off his feet and on his plastron for a while."

He said and Donnie stepped up and took a breath.

"Will you need my assistance Professor ?"

Donnie asked and the Professor smiled.

"Of course Donatello. You are my aid with everything else. I would deeply appreciate your help, and I'm sure Leonardo will as well."

Donnie nodded and the two immediately gathered everything they would need and kicked everyone out of the infirmary. Including Raphael.

They all waited in the main area with the controls in case they needed to steer the ship for any reason.

"April is in charge of steering the ship if need be."

Fugatoid said from the doorway before closing the doors.

April smirked and Raph, Mikey and Casey rolled their eyes and pouted.

Raph and Mikey sat in one pod while Casey was in the other and April standing where Professor usually would, in the center.

After two hours, Donnie exited the infirmary with a small smile on his face.

He entered the main area to see Mikey, Casey and April playing a weird alien version of cards. While Raph was sleeping in the pod he and Mikey were in earlier.

Donnie walked in and told everyone what happened.
