Nothing in this guy's schedule changed. He was a man who liked the simplicity of always knowing what to expect. Rarely anything ever caught him off guard, and if it did, he didn't pay much mind to it. Nothing would make him stray from his agenda.
Rush to his company.
Make sure his employees didn't slack off.
Have lunch.
Help his employees catch up on their work.
Continue his own work.
Head home. The following day would be the exact same, pin pointed schedule.
Nothing would change.
Different day, same tasks.
He entered his company, being the first to arrive as usual. This was the norm considering he always arrived an hour before the official opening time. He powered on all the lights and headed to his office to catch up on work from the previous days.
With his computer in front of him, he began graphing and calculating this month's income. He drew up a chart and added each days average to it before adding the sum up. This month had done exceptionally well. They had a three percent increase compared to last month's overall income.
That was good, but he wanted to do better. What else could he do to draw people in? He'd probably have to host a meeting with his campaign director's and ask them to come up with an idea. Perhaps they could have a sale, he was willing to do any marketing strategy as long as it wasn't a commercial.
His employees were too chaotic for that. There was no way they could handle such a professional, and highly coordinated job. They were bound to mess it all up.
It can't be helped. After all, I suppose I spoil them too much. The man smiled, quickly glancing towards his office door when he heard somebody knocking on it. "Come in." He ordered, straightening up a bit and giving his employee his full attention.
"Good morning boss!" One of his over enthusiastic workers greeted, offering him a coffee. "Are you already working on this month's sales data?"
The boss took the coffee and hummed appreciatively. "Good morning, Hemni. I already finished collecting the data and analyzing it. We're up about three perecnt."
"That's good." The worker replied a bright smile on his face. He continued smiling innocently until he caught sight of his employer's frown. His mood instantly dropped and he grew nervous. "Uhm, you don't seem that happy. How come?"
"Oh, my bad. I'm definitely happy. I just feel like I could've done better. We're going to have a meeting later on in the week so be sure to let your coworkers know. I want everybody to bring fresh ideas to the table."
Hemni nodded. "Got it boss." He said determinedly, about to leave the office but stopped himself. "You should really relax though. We have this covered."
The man simply chuckled while shaking his head. "Me relax? I can't."
"Sure you can, boss. All you have to do is something you enjoy."
"I enjoy working."
Hemni sweatdropped. Why was his boss such a workaholic? The logical answer was because he didn't have time to slack off and try to run a million dollar company, but still. It was important to make time for himself.
A lightbulb went off in the workers head. "I know! Why don't you go on a dating site. You can find someone who'll go out with you and who knows. Maybe you two will have fun."
A laugh erupted from the boss. "Hemni, what am I to do with you?" He asked, totally amused. "I appreciate you giving me suggestions on how I should enjoy my time, but I don't have time to go on dates. I have a company to run."
