Once again the young worker found himself in the dimly lit room of the lounge. He could hear a few other prostitutes talking about trivial things in a room a few doors down, but he decided to tune them out as he played a random game on his phone to pass the time.
He was about to beat his highscore but the clicking of shoes heading in his direction made him lose focus and glance up momentarily, his character on the app meeting its demise. In big red letters were the words-
Game over.
"Takafumi." His boss sighed, flicking on the lights. "I don't mind you being in here but at least turn the lights on. It's a bit creepy always finding you in here alone in the dark, and get off of the floor. There's literally a sofa four feet away from you." He said in an exasperated tone as he made his way over to the gray eyed man and helped him get up.
"Tch." Yokozawa made a noise of disapproval, flipping his phone around so he could show his employer the screen. "You made me lose." He stated flatly, a small frown on his face as he drew back and pocketed his device.
"That's not important right now. Get ready, you have a client."
"I'm not in the mood."
His boss recoiled, brows furrowing. "What do you mean you're not in the mood? You skipped out yesterday without a valid excuse. You should be more than eager to work today."
"Did you miss me?"
"Huh?"
"I'm asking if you missed me since I wasn't here yesterday." Yokozawa repeated, leaning in so their faces were a few inches apart. His eyes gleamed darkly and a smile spread across his face before he gave a condescending laugh. "Why do you look so flustered? Is it true? Did you miss me?"
The man gave him an agitated glare. "Go now."
"You're no fun." Yokozawa ran a hand through his hair and faked disappointment. "Is it a new client?"
"Yes, so be nice and drop the attitude when you're with them. They're paying for your body, not the back talk."
"Don't tell me how to do my job. I don't see you out there." He picked up his bag and put a hand on his boss's chest, literally shoving him aside. "Send the address to my phone."
How anyone can stand that worker is honestly a surprise. The man thought, pulling out his phone and texting the worker the address, becoming even more pissed off when all it said was delivered. Was he not even going to read the message?!
Yokozawa had just finished putting his stuff in the passenger seat when he felt his phone vibrate. He climbed in the car and drummed his fingers against the steering wheel patiently, trying to waste time cause he knew his boss hated when he didn't read his messages.
After a couple of minutes he grabbed his phone and read the messages, sending a quick reply in response so the other could at least acknowledge that he'd read through them.
