Bokuto ran towards me, weaving around people in his rush. He stopped in front of me, his hand reaching for my face. One of his hands cupped my right cheek, his other one holding the left side of my neck as he carefully turned my head to get a better look at the bruise.
"What happened? Are you ok? Who did that to you!?" Bokuto asked, getting angrier and angrier as he continued. I reached up and placed my hand over his, stopping his questions from continuing.
"Bokuto-san, it's nothing to worry about. I don't even feel it anymore," I told him gently, looking into his eyes and trying to ignore the flustered feeling I felt with him holding my face.
"Akaashi, who did this to you?" His voice was dark, unlike anything I've ever heard him say. His eyes were absent the gleam of joy and life they usually had, in its place settled a fit of dark anger that I wasn't aware he could possess. Even now, with Bokuto enraged, his and Takahashi's eyes were completely different.
"Bokuto-san," I tried again, but realization formed on his face.
"It was Takahashi, wasn't it? He hurt you even though I told him not to," Bokuto's eyes became unfocused, his face set as he turned and looked around the room. "I'm going to beat that bastard," He growled, and I stared at him in shock. Bokuto stormed away and I felt panic well in me. If he attacked Takahashi it would create a fight that would ruin our mission.
I decided to get the other agents before going after Bokuto again. I ran towards Daichi who was the closest to us, grabbing his arm and yanking him towards Kenma and Iwa.
"Akaashi, what are you doing? What happened to your face?" Daichi asked once we stopped. He tried to reach out for my face, but I slapped his hand away.
"Bokuto's about to attack Takahashi, we need to stop him," I told them, urgency clear in my voice.
"Takahashi was the one who hit you," It was a statement, not a question. Iwa looked pissed, but nowhere near how angry Bokuto was.
"Yes, but now's not the time! We have to stop Bokuto!" I rushed.
"I think we should let him get a few hits in," Kenma shrugged.
"Guys, the mission! We would be throwing it out if he makes a scene!" I remind them, realization dawning on their faces.
"Shit," Daichi eloquently put it. We all ran through the crowd, seeing Bokuto storming towards Takahashi who was smiling at him.
Iwa grabbed his arm, Daichi grabbing the other. I stepped in front of him.
"Bokuto, take a deep breath," I urged.
"This isn't a big deal, Akaashi is fine!" Daichi tried.
"This is nothing to start a fight over," Iwa butted in.
"He hit Akaashi!" Bokuto yelled, his eyes blazing.
"Bokuto," My voice caused him to look at me, breaking the eye contact with Takahashi. I stepped forward and placed my hand on his chest, pushing slightly. "Come with me," I chewed on the words slightly, but decided this would be the best bet.
He watched me with curiosity as I pulled him down a hall and into another room. The other agents let us go, knowing we needed to talk in private. I pushed Bokuto into the room where he started pacing the floor.
"Bokuto-sama, you remember what I told you about my past?" I asked him. He gave me a curious look before nodding. I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for what I had to do. I took off my suit jacket, noticing how Bokuto's eyes widened. I unbuttoned my shirt, being careful not to untuck it from my pants.
