"Kotaro, I want to remind you that half of the people meeting here are agents," I nudged as we walked into the Karasuno manner. We both had boxes wrapped in Christmas paper in our hands, mine a lot heavier than his.
"How could I forget?" He tilted his head down to look at me, "does this mean you'll be doing agent stuff here?" He asked.
"In a way? You'll have to see when the time comes," I brushed off his confused look as we found the room.
At this point, Daichi and Suga were dating, their relationship being sickly sweet that the spectator's teeth rot. Iwa and Oikawa are also dating after Oikawa confessed his feelings while fighting, their relationship consisting of a lot of bickering and some cuddling. Kenma and Kuroo obviously like each other but have yet to act on it.
We walked into the ballroom where we would be hanging out, finding Kuroo on top of Kenma, with everyone else rolling on the floor in laughter.
"What are you doing?" I asked the group, talking mainly to the 2 people who aren't currently in a relationship but were in a compromising position nonetheless.
"I went to take Kenma's game away, and someone pushed me on top of him," Kurro explained as he got off the agent.
"He's lucky I didn't stab him," Kenma breathed, removing the knife attached to his side and placing it on the floor next to him like he was putting it out of his reach so he didn't feel compelled to use it. I could tell it took a lot in him not to react to Kuroo falling on him. All of us agents felt the same way when dealing with our partners.
"Do you all have the presents?" Daichi asked, all of us nodding our heads.
We started with the regular gift exchange, some of us getting Volleyball gear, some getting new gaming stuff, and some getting clothes. We all said our thanks, expressing our gratitude. Next was the agent gift exchange.
"Alright, who told their nobleman counterparts?" Iwa asked first as we pulled out our separate presents.
"I told Suga," Daichi admitted.
"God damnit Daichi," Kenma glared.
"What about you, Akaashi? We all know you'd also be the one to warn him ahead of time," Iwa turned to glare at me.
"I told him we would be doing agent stuff, nothing else," I shrugged, knowing their accusations were correct.
"Good enough, let's get started," Iwa sighed. We all looked at each other for a moment, letting the tension soak in. Finally, Iwa locked eyes with me and got up. He handed me his box, starting the exchange. I gave my box to Daichi who paled at the sight of me. Kenma gave Iwa a present, and Daichi gave his gift to Kenma.
We began opening our gifts. Daichi let out a long string of curses once he saw what I gave him.
"A sword? Really?" He asked. I smiled at him.
"You are not one to complain, what the hell am I supposed to do with a chain!?" Kenma yelled, holding up the chain for everyone to see.
I opened my box from Iwa, looking inside with a small smile.
"Please tell me you don't know how to use it," Iwa said quietly as he watched my reaction.
"You got me a war club, it's not exactly complicated," I raised an eyebrow.
"It's so hard finding shit for you!" Iwa cried out.
"He's going to dominate us again this year," Daichi muttered with a shake of his head.
"What do you mean?" Suga asked, looking between all of us.
"It's a tradition that we gift each other weapons that will either get them out of their comfort zone or force them to learn a new skill, then we'll have a month to train with it before we fight against each other to see who wins," Daichi explained.
