Turning my head.

Todoroki now had the 10,000,000 points.

We all stood in shock. Iida had just stood across the field. I couldn't process what just happened.

He- Did he? Pack it up Sonic. Holy-

I was thrown out of my thoughts by Uraraka, who was pushing us toward Todoroki's group. Right, we can't give this up now. We are gonna make it to the next round. Midoriya was able to get one of the bands around Todoroki's neck, but it wasn't enough for us to advance. I was lowkey getting stressed because I wasn't really able to do anything to help. As we charged back at Todoroki's team, I saw a certain blonde flying through the air. Before we could get to Todoroki's team, time ran out.

Present Mic starts to go over the next 4 teams that were going to be advancing to the next round. In first place was Todoroki, the Bakugo's team, which I wasn't surprised about. The 3rd team was a guy named Shinso. Midoriya and I walked over to Uraraka and Tokoyami.

"I'm sorry guys, I know that you put your trust in me and I let you down." Midoriya said. Uraraka just pointed at Tokoyami. Tokoyami walked over and Dark Shadow was holding a headband. My heart started pounding at the sight.

WAIT DOES THAT MEAN?!

"Team Midoriya advances to the next round." Midoriya started crying. I smiled and pulled Uraraka into a hug, and then asked Tokoyami if I could hug him, which we politely allowed me to. I smiled happily that I was going to the next round, but I couldn't help but think how useless I felt in this round. I will have to work even harder in the next round. I need to be the best I can be, I deserve to be in the hero course just like everyone that has made it this far.

With that it was time for lunch and everyone was going to the school ground to get food. Jiro caught up to me.

"Hey Shina, great job making it to the next round." She congratulated me. I smiled.

"Thank you, I don't know I felt kinda useless. I wish there was more that I could have done you know?" I shrug. Uraraka interjects. "Are you kidding me, Shina. Do you know how helpful you were? You were the only reason we were able to get away from all of those teams in the first place. When we were in a sticky situation, your quirk saved us out there." She stated.

"Uraraka, thank you. But I couldn't have done it without you helping me out."I say.

"We did it together." She smiled. When I turn my head, I see Bakugo on the other side of the hallway walking the other way.

"Um.. I'll see you at the cafeteria guys." I tell the girls before following Bakugo.

"Bakugo! Wait!" I call out to him.

"What the hell do you want!?" He yelled.

"Listen we need to talk. Please." I say catching up to him.

"What is there to talk about. You paired up with that damn Deku. You think he's better than me huh. I mean you worked with him before so he was probably the safe option right."

"Bakugo, I know how this looks but I promise I'll explain after the festival. Midoriya asked me to be on his team and I said yes. If I knew I wouldn't hold you back then I would have teamed up with you no questions asked, but things don't always work out how we want them."

"Why would you hold me back?" He asked.

My voice got stuck in my throat. "Wow, you can't even answer a simple question." He started walking away from me.

"Wait Bakugo, I have to tell you after the festival-"

"Shh." He said.

"Wha-" he covered my mouth with his hand.

Yo but why his hands smell like caramel...

He shushed me because Todoroki and Midoriya were talking about something with All Might and Endeavor. It wasn't my business so I didn't pay any mind to the information. I just started to think about the next round of the festival. Bakugo started walking the other way when they seemed to have finished speaking with one another.

"Bakugo wait-"

"You better bring your best to the next round. If you don't I'll kill you." He started simply walking away. I stood there dumbfounded.

Well the next round is going to be very interesting.
