Renesme's POV

It just doesn't feel the same my body doesn't feel the same..the doctors said that I am completely healed after 2 weeks spent in recovery....I just don't feel like myself.

I have been having nightmares about that day ..it creeps me out. When I asked about my mother they said that it was most likely a suicide and not an homicide..but it's a small-town nobody wants that kind of attention so they just ruled it as suicide just to close the case quickly. It infuriates me how they disregarded my mother's life as if her life had no purpose to it as if it didn't matter, it wasn't worth the time and effort.

Victoria and Nashton convinced me to just let it go.. I said I did but it still bugs me to this day. Oh and Nash decided to open one of his many gyms here ..which is great and all but why now.

As I'm sitting in bed binge-watching Friends on TV I hear a knock on my door...nobody is supposed to come here so who could be knocking I grab my metal bat as I walk up from the basement being cautious with each step as I hear a loud crash in the living room as I turn the corner.

"Ren it's me Nash...what are you doing with a bat" why the hell does he feel the need to sneak up on me like that.

"You scared the shit out of me ...why didn't you call first I was gonna bash your face with this bat you know" he chuckles as if he thinks I'm joking ...well I'd love to try and dent him at least seeing that he got ripped while away but I would still get E for effort though.

"You really think that is gonna do anything to someone who wants to kill you and I did call but you didn't pick up I got worried" he has a point I look down on my feet with shame as all I am able to do is take a beating and turns out that isn't worth shit in realty...I wanna learn how to defend myself.

"I was sleeping ok....but Nash can I ask you something" he looks at me with suspicious eyes "chillax it's nothing bad I just want you to train me at your gym to be a professional boxer" and as I finished that sentence I saw that look in his eyes the one that only sees me as this damsel that needs to be saved and it's about time I proved to everyone that I can become strong and protect myself.

"I mean yeah but are you sure, it's not really your scene you know" there it is again doubting my capabilities.

"I am going to train so either at your gym or someone else's. I have to go somewhere don't leave till I get back" that day is gonna make me a stronger person I know it.

I think I wanna go back to that same park that started it all.

As I am walking down the road noticing all the familiar features of the path to the park, it's soothing to my nerves making me feel reassured of the decisions I want to make with my life moving forward
I take a seat at the same place where I had sat the first time, I couldn't help but search the crowd for that little girl that told me her worries and was reassured by me and was so happy.

"Ren!!" I hear my name from a little voice from behind me I turn to be engulfed in a hug by Jenny the little girl with her dad walking behind her.

"Hi sweetie, how are you," I ask her as she is now looking at me with her rosy cheeks as she giggles "I'm ok, daddy got me two big scoops of chocolate ice cream," she says with gleaming eyes, I could see that she loved her dad allot.

With that said this handsome man lets out a soft chuckle at his daughter's excitement. Damnn this man's voice is doing things to me." Jen you can go play, don't go too far though," he says tells Jenny as she runs off to play.

He takes a seat beside me "Renesme how would you like to have lunch with me after I drop Jenny at her grandmother's"
So much for being done with older guys...he looks like the late twenties though not that old right. My mind is saying don't cave but my body is saying 'I NEED TO GET LAYED' and maybe he can just help me out after 'lunch'.

"Sure let me give you my number so that you can text me where and when" he shakes his head handing me his phone to put it in. He had a beautiful picture of him holding Jenny, it looked like it was when she was born..she looks so cute. I put in my number and save it as 'Ren the girl from the park'. I smiled knowing when he sees it would be our inside joke, passing his phone back to him.

"So Ren how come I never see you around much"

"I just found it the other day my house is just a couple of blocks from here, can I ask for your opinion on something" I want his opinion because he doesn't know me to judge me unfairly or have a biased opinion "do you think I could be a boxer?" I look into his eyes to read his expression, great there goes the getting laid part he probably thinks I'm crazy. I look away in embarrassment as the silence grows immensely.

"I don't know you yet Ren but from your eyes, I can tell you are a fighter already so if you think you want to do boxing I think you would excel at it" he states resting his hand on my shoulder giving it a gentle squeeze. " I really do hope I get to know you Ren" I smile as he so sweet and he barely knows me.

"Give me a call when you decide you are ready to get to know me," I say standing to leave. "oh, and Jake you are pretty hot for a dad" I smile and give him a wink as I walk towards Jenny to say goodbye.

This man is bringing out the cocky hoe in me I swear I'm not normally that bold but anyway I turn around to see him walking a distance behind me full-on blushing, I cover my smile, I didn't know I could have that effect on men, the hoe in me needs to appear more often I like this.

I reach Jenny I got on my knees in front of her and Jake stood beside her in front of me "Hey sweetie I'm gonna go now ok, take care of your daddy" as the word daddy rolls of my tongue I look up to him bitting my lips looking him up and down seductively as Jenny gives me a hug goodbye. I know the wrong place but I just had to frustrate him a little, Jenny lets go and I stand to my feet. "Thanks for talking to me Jake, hope we can do it again soon, bye" I wave to them as I walk away towards the direction of the gym.
