I know I haven't spoken to Ren allot since I moved back home but I know I have to give her space. She texted me to pick her up at an unfamiliar place which was huge. I am curious as to what happened to her, her makeup was all smudged like she was crying. Now we are just sitting in the silence of my car while I race through the open road to get her home to rest.
"Do you want me to pick up anything for you from your house?" I look to see if she heard me, she is just staring through the window with spaced out eyes. She shook her head no in response, just before closing her eyes and resting on the window.
I don't live very close to where I picked up Ren but it Sunday the roads aren't that packed...we've been on the road for about 2 hours.
"Are we there yet Nash?" She wakes up rubbing her eyes in an effort to wake fully.
"Sleeping beauty wakes...I thaught I was gonna have to kiss you" I let out a nervous chuckle to lighten the mood. She might have seen it as a joke but I would love to kiss her.
She smiles a little, that's a good sign. "I forgot how far away your house is from town" she plays with the hem of her shirt, something she tends to do whenever she is nervous.
"I know you will tell me what happened when you are ready, just know I'm here ..ok" I give her thigh a light squeeze as reassurance that I'm here to listen.
She starts to sob in the sleeve of her shirt.
"I forgot my meds yesterday and I had a seizure..."
I didn't need to know anything more ..I pulled over the car unbuckled my seat belt and ran to the passenger side of the car.
"Ren come here....it's ok now Ren...I'm here" she melts into my hug, sobbing in my shoulder.

"I will always be here Ren....I'm not going anywhere...." whenever she has seizures she says she sees her mom killing me and it has always been the same thing everytime...so anytime she has seizures the doctor says she needs to know I'm here.
Renesme has strengthened her body since her mom was killed but even in death that woman still haunts her.
"We are just a couple minutes to my place, when we get there we can have a 'friends' marathon...let's go Ren" she tilts her head to look at me with a small smile she shakes her head in agreement.
She got back in the car this time rolling down the windows.
She takes out my aux cable from my glovebox and hooks up her phone to it.
Usher- I don't mind Great now we gotta tag team on this...
"Shorty, I don't mind if you dance on a pole" she giggles while teasing me ...I wonder if she knows I'm gonna crash if she continues.
"That don't make you a hoe" I laugh looking at her jumping up and down in her seat like she always does.
"Shawty, I don't mind when you work until three" great now she is shouting through the window. I'm gonna let it slide once since she deserves a little happiness now.
"If you're leaving with me"
We join forces

After what felt like 4 hours later we finally arrived at my house

"I have a surprise for you ...but if you're tired I can wait till tomorrow to show you" I turn off the car and look to her for an answer. She is fast asleep with her hair slightly in her face. Even asleep she still looks beautiful. Tomorrow I'll let her ride the bikes I bought for her birthday next week...she used to like that so it'll cheer her up.
