(8). Time to run bitch

Renesme's POV

I stirred in the comfort of my soft comforter sheets when my stupid alarm goes off indicating to me that it's time for my morning run. Lilith suggested that I run daily so that my body wouldn't be completely out of shape by the time I got to the gym for my first session. Speaking of working out my stomach was telling me I need food, it's too early for that baby I'm trying to diet. She said I'm out of shape after all.

I decided to take a quick run to the park and guess who I saw. "Jake I should be upset you know" I tell him making reference to my number which he has not contacted me since.

"I know I was gonna last night but thaught you forgot about me" he admits with sincerity in his eyes looking at me.

"Chillax I would never forget 'the hot dad from the park Jake' I know you're busy with Jenny" I make sure to use air quotes, speaking of Jenny I don't see her anywhere I do a quick scope of the park "Did you lose her again where is your sweet daughter?"

He chuckles at my compliment and runs his hand through his wavy hair, which look so sexy when he does it "She is actually with her mom this week so I'm free all week" he looks to the ground. Aww he's nervous so cute.

"Jake if you're gonna ask me out just say so but I only accept invites from texts or call" I bit my lip after the burst of confidence that I just displayed infront of him. Shocked myself at how straight forward I am being today.

He turns away and begins to walk away. See that is what happens Ren when you are to straight forward you scare all the guys away. I start to gulp my water to distract myself from how embarrassed I am of myself.

((BUZZ))
I quickly answer my phone wondering if it's Lilith upset that I'm not in the gym yet.

"Hello Renesme speaking "

Renesme would you like to go to dinner with me tonight :)

"Omg Jake I thaught I scared you off"

Ren well I guess we both need to stop assuming with each other then...lol

"I guess so Jay"

Is it a yes to dinner or are you just gonna come up with more nicknames for me.

"It's a yes ;)"

Pick you up at eight then?

"Eight it is, see you then daddy jay;)"

I quickly put away my phone too embarrassed to look at his response.

I am now infront of the gym. I wonder if I should bother I'm already late and in all honesty I'm so tired. I am brought back to reality when I feel eyes burning holes in my skull...Lilith is looking at me..oh boy she does not look happy. I quickly enter the gym putting away my gym bag and quickly find myself infront of her awaiting her instructions.

"Ok Red seeing that you are half an hour late after I specifically told you I hate people who are late" she squeezes her temple releasing a frustrated sigh, "You are gonna do legs today so leg press, leg extension, leg curl, glute bridge and my personal favorite squat jumps, 20 of each now go!" She instructed me with a smirk. Well now we know she loves to torture me, sigh.

I decided to do squat jumps first and my legs are jello at this point and I haven't even finished one set yet.

~Couple Hours Later 7:30pm~

"Lilith can I go home now please?" I put my hands at my akimbo heaving like I have asthma..looking to her for a response in my favour I am supposed to be going to a date at eight and its 7:30 I look on my wrist watch.
