you were all currently out for some victory nachos to celebrate cobra kai winning the all-valley tournament. and despite having that awkward conversation with moon prior, you were having fun.
"it was supposed to be a round of drinks, but the waitress was not feeling hawk's fake ID." aisha spoke to her phone.
"hey, don't talk about that. my parents follow you." hawk told the girl, his old self coming back a bit. "you're so cute." you teased him. the boy just blushed and looked down, making you chuckle to yourself.
"sorry, mr. and mrs. moskowitz." aisha apologized. "anyways, until next time, no mercy, bitches." she told her phone, turning it off.
"i gotta say, it's nice to be at a victory party." demetri said, picking up a nacho. "yeah, except you had nothing to do with the victory." hawk told him, taking his nacho. "then i consider it a belated party for the coding competition we won at computer camp. remember? demetri and eli, binary brothers." demetri sang.
you let out a loud laugh and so did aisha, but hawk didn't seem to find it funny. "hey, cool it with the nerd shit, huh?" hawk threatened. you could feel the tension between the two and it was awkward. you pulled hawk backwards into the booth, before giving demetri an apologetic look.
"hey, where's miguel? his wings are getting cold. eli, come with me to check on miguel." you spoke, trying to change the topic. "but, i'm eating nachos." he told you, but you sent him a glare and he got up quickly, following you.
"el serpienté, there you are!" hawk spoke. "this is how you're celebrating a first place trophy?" you asked the boy, with a pout. "she blocked me." miguel said, sadly. "so, what happens when you get blocked? you counterpunch. except don't actually hit her this time." he laughed. "that's not funny." you told him, pulling on one of his hair spikes. "what? too soon?" he said, looking at you. "look, all i'm saying is don't give up." he quickly finished.
"it's no use. i blew any shot i had with her." miguel muttered. "if you really want her that badly, then just give her a chance. she'll come around, i guess." you told your friend, not really knowing how to help. "or she won't. your karate dojo just won the all-valley. you can get any chick in the valley you want. you're like drake, enjoy it!" hawk told the boy, slapping his shoulder. "that's true too." you told the tan boy, while getting up to walk away. "oh and also, we won the all-valley because of me. so i'm like drake." you told the boys with a wink, before walking away.
"she's so hot." hawk muttered, dreamily. miguel only looked disgusted. he couldn't see you that way, you were more like a little sister.
"c'mon eli!" you yelled to the boy, causing him to scramble out of his seat to catch up to you.

you were waiting in your car for hawk and miguel to show up at the dojo to train, but they were taking forever.
finally, you spotted the two boys on electric scooters. you rolled your eyes and got out of the car to meet the boys.
"i could've given you rides, you know?" you told them, walking up. "yeah, but scooters are way cooler." miguel told you, hawk agreeing. "you two are the biggest nerds ever." you told them, walking ahead of them with both of them on each side of you.
"looks like we got some new students." miguel said to you and hawk. "fresh fish." hawk told miguel while smirking.
"look it's the champ." one boy spoke, pointing to you. "yeah, something like that." you told the boy, smiling. "check this out." hawk told you both. "don't, eli." you told him, while laughing lightly. miguel and hawk then walked ahead of you to talk to the boys.
