you were sitting next to tory at the dojo while she planned a date with miguel.

"can't do friday. i'm working at the roller rink." tory told her boyfriend. "great! let's turn it into a date night." miguel told her, sounding hopeful.

listening to your friends plan their date night made you happy. you were glad to see miguel finally moving on from sam, but your thoughts were interrupted by tory speaking to you.

"you should totally bring hawk! it could be like a double date." your friend suggested, making you ponder on the idea. "nah, i don't think he'd like it much. plus, it's your guys' night. hawk and i can just stay home, he likes that." you told the girl with a smile.

the dojo's bell rang, signaling someone had walked in. you got up when you noticed it was your boyfriend and miguel followed behind.

you gave him a quick hug before miguel spoke up. "hey, about coyote creek, we cool?" miguel asked his best friend, almost nervously. hawk let out a scoff, looking at the boy. "we were enemies for a day, but cobra kai for life." hawk told his friend, doing their handshake.

"why do you guys always fist bump so hard?" you asked hawk after miguel walked away. he only replied with a shrug before leading you to the mat.

"everybody, fall in!" johnny yelled, making everyone fall into neat rows and lines. "today we're learning one of the most important lessons a cobra kai could know." johnny spoke out before hawk spoke up. "where's sensei kreese?" hawk asked, curious.

"yeah, shouldn't we wait for the sensei emeritus before we get going?" stingray butted in. johnny only gave him a look that made it very clear that kreese wasn't coming back.

"mr. kreese will no longer be coming back." johnny told the group. hawk and miguel both looked at you with confused faces, but you could only mirror the same face. you didn't know what was going on either.

"i made a promise when i became your sensei to always look out for your best interests. despite how hard this might be for all of us, he didn't have our best interest at heart." your sensei informed. he then went on to say how he wanted cobra kai to be better and that it was okay to show mercy. you understood what he was saying, but you just hoped showing mercy wouldn't bite anyone in the ass later. you trusted johnny's judgement, though. you would never doubt him.

johnny made everyone partner up for head-butting. you pulled some random kid in front of you. "you're gonna be my partner. okay? cool." you told the boy, giving him no time to respond. you hit the boy with your head, sending him to the ground. pulling the boy up, you pushed him to the side.

hawk stood next to you and head-butted the kid who he partnered with, sending him to the ground. "oh! that was awesome! do me next." stingray told him, excited. hawk head-butted the man and he hit the ground, cheering which made you laugh.

you walked away from hawk and stingray, going into johnny's office. "hey, sensei." you greeted the man. "just tuck in your chin, aim for the nose with the crown on your head. i'm sure you got it." he told you, quickly. "no, it's not about that. i just wanted to check on you. i mean, with kreese leaving. i know he was your friend, so if you need anything i'm here." you told the older man with a smile.

miguel had walked in behind you. "hey, i was just coming to say the same thing!" he told you and johnny. "yeah? well, you guys don't gotta worry about me. besides, you guys should be focused on those girlfriends and boyfriends of yours." he told you both, with a teasing smile. "i'm fine, we're fine." you told johnny with a smile. "wait, you know about tory and i?" miguel questioned, blushing. "i'm not blind. just don't get distracted." he told the both of you.

"we won't." you told johnny, speaking for the both of you and johnny nodded in response.

you and miguel were at johnny's apartment. miguel had somehow convinced the blond man to online date and when he asked for your help, you couldn't resist.

"okay, the app is set up. what type of women are you looking to meet?" miguel asked johnny, making you look over at the man. he only gave miguel a look, before you and miguel both realized. "super hot babes." you and miguel said at the same time, rolling your eyes.

"okay, what are your likes?" you asked the man. "my likes? what am i supposed to say? long walks on the beach?" the man spoke sarcastically. "i like muscle cars, martial arts, and iron eagle. and iron eagle 2." johnny concluded making you sigh. "why aren't you texting this down?" he asked miguel. "why isn't he texting this down?" he questioned again, turning to you. "because you aren't taking this seriously!" you told the man.

"it used to be simple. find a chick at a bar. bump into her hard, but not too hard, pretty hard. then you buy her a bear." johnny told you and miguel. you looked at him confused, before getting up.

"as fun as this is, i have to go. hawk is coming over in a few minutes." you told them, going to walk out of johnny's apartment.

you and hawk laid on your bed, his head on your stomach and your hands in his red hair. neither of you were paying attention to whatever movie was on and hawk was falling asleep. you just were enjoying each other's company. his arms wrapped tight around your waist, leaving occasional kisses on your revealed stomach.

your moment was interrupted when a text message alert came from your phone. you went to grab it, but hawk stopped you, letting out a groan. "don't, please." he told you, looking up at you. "it's probably tory, she told me she'd check in about the date." you told your boyfriend and he raised off of you.

"that bitch is here and it looks like she's flirting with miguel." the text message read. "sam's at the roller rink and she's flirting with miguel." you informed hawk. he rolled his eyes, before asking you if you wanted to stop by. you thought for a moment before telling him yes.

you walked into the skating rink with hawk on your trail. you spotted miguel and walked up to him. "i swear to god, diaz, if you hurt tory i'll personally kick your ass." you told the boy, seriously. he immediately back up, looking confused. "tory told me sam was here and that you guys were flirting." you informed.

tory walked to the group with a smirk on her face, making you confused. "i thought sam was here flirting with miguel." you asked with a questioning tone. "she was and when i confronted that bitch, she pushed me." she told you making you scoff.

tory quickly changed the subject, "so are you guys going to moon's party?" she questioned you and hawk. your boyfriend nodded his head and looked at you, his eyes telling you he wanted to go home. "well, we should go. i just wanted to make sure you're okay." you told tory. "yeah, and you are. so, let's go!" hawk spoke out, grabbing your hand and pulling you out of the roller rink.
