She dials daddy and he answers after 3 rings.
"Hey honey," she says excitedly.
Since I can't hear what my dad is saying I assume he says something sweet because my mom blushes.
"I asked her and she said yes!" she screams gaining looks.
"Oh yes dear we will meet you there," she says happily.
Se hangs up and squeals.
"We're going to meet him at the child adoption shop down the street!" She says smiling.
"Ok let's go!" I say now VERY excited for a new sibling.
We walk down the street and see my dad standing in front of the adoption center.
"Hey daddy," I say hugging him.
"Are you sure you are fine with this Katniss?" he asks making sure.
"Absolutely," I say.
They nod and we walk in.
It really is a sad place.More like depressing.
They're are old looking blankets, and scrawny looking kids laying on them.
They are in old tattered clothes and and the building is really beat up.
It's really sad.
When a lady walks up to us, we all immediately send her glares.
She glares right back but talks VERY politely to us.
"How may I help you?" she asks.
"Um we are looking for another child..." my father says.
All the kids head shoot up. I'm about to cry.
"Ok come in here and fill out these papers and I will help you pick one out," she says leading us to a room with a desk and many chairs.
My parent fill out the forms and I stare through the one way glass t the small children.
They are all ranging from 0-18 years old.
None really catch my eye.
I ask if I can go out and talk to them and the lady tells me that would be perfectly fine.
