I was up warm and snuggled against something.
I snuggle deeper into it to find warmth.
"They're so cute," I hear Rye say.
"Agreed," Finnick says.
I feel whatever's around me start to stir and then it hugs me tight.
I try to snuggle deeper into the warmth.
"What-whys-oh my gosh-did I do this?' I hear Peeta ask Finnick.
Peeta seems really close for some reason....
"Um no actually she went to you and you automatically wrapped you arms around her.... " Finnick says. I can hear the smile in his voice.
"Awwww," I hear Annie say.
I decide to get up and see what they are talking about.
I sit up and look around.
I'm wrapped in Peeta's arms and everyone else sits on the couch watching us.
"Ummm....I'm sorry Peeta....i didn't know..." I say trying to get out of his grasp.
"No Katniss. Its fine. Completely fine.
Please don't leave. stay," he says begging and pulling me back into his arms.
"Ok....I guess so," I say not really wanting to leave the warmth anyway.
We talk and laugh and stuff but we hear clicking on the hard wood floor and in walks the little puppy.
"Hey baby girl," I say smiling.
She walks over and plops down in my lap.
She licks my hands and just looks around the room for a little while.
"So what time should we take her to the vet?" I ask.
"Um how about when everyone gets dressed?" Annie asks.
We all agree and I reluctantly stand up.
"Well thanks for keeping me warm," I say to Peeta laughing.
"No problem," he says chuckling as well.
I follow Annie and Jo to one bedroom to get changed and we lat the Guy change where ever.
