L/N = Last Name

Y/N's POV

I smoothed my hands over my red dress nervously. It was Valentine's Day, and I was going out to dinner with my boyfriend.

As I listened to my favorite music, I couldn't help but dance a little in the mirror. I loved Loki, I really did. He always knew how to make me smile - or blush. There was something about him that just seemed perfect.

"Darling, are you ready?" my boyfriend called from the bedroom doorway. I dabbed my red lips with a tissue, ensuring there would be no smearing of my lipstick tonight. "Yup!" I stepped into view shyly. His eyes scanned over my feminine figure, soaking in every aspect of my appearance. "Love, you look... breathtaking."

Within mere seconds, Loki was towering over me, his cool hands resting respectfully on my hips. He kissed me hungrily, as if he'd been saving this energy for quite some time, and it was just now bubbling over. I felt a warmth spread across my face. Loki smirked. He knew

"We should get going," he glanced at me, an unreadable expression glimmering in his eyes. I nodded, looking down like I was deeply embarrassed.

Loki offered me his arm, to which I accepted meekly. He led me outside, took both of my hands, and asked, "Are you ready, sweetheart?"

I smiled at him, genuinely. "For you? Always."

He let out a small chuckle. Loki sqeezed my hands, and the next thing I knew we were standing outside of a fancy restaurant.

I don't think I'll ever get used to teleportation.

When I was swaying slightly, Loki rested his hand on the small of my back to steady me. He opened the door, saying, "After you, my dear."

"Just the two of you?" the waitress asked with a smile. Loki nodded. "We have a reservation for Laufeyson."

"Right this way," the waitress stated, gesturing for us to follow her to our table.

Loki helped me remove my coat and pushed my chair in. Once we were both seated, the waitress returned to us with menus. "What can I get you two to drink?" she asked, pulling out her notepad.

"Water is fine," I said.

"I'll have the same," Loki added.

"Alrighty! I'll be right back with those for ya," the waitress smiled, leaving us to ourselves.

"I had a really great time tonight," I told him. Loki nodded in agreement. We were standing outside the restaurant, watching the snow fall past the street lamps. "As did I, my love."

We stood in silence for a moment, before Loki spoke. "Y/N?"

I turned to face him, and suddenly, he kissed me. He pulled away, looked me dead in the eyes, and knelt down. "Y/N, I never believed in angels until I met you. Y/N L/N, will you marry me?"

Loki was holding the most beautiful diamond ring, his green eyes eagerly awaiting my reply. My eyes swelled up with tears, and before I could even think about what was happening, I whispered, "Yes. Yes!" I cried happily.

Loki grinned, standing up to twirl me around in his arms. He slipped the ring on my left finger, visibly thrilled with my response.

"I love you, Darling."

"I love you, too."
