"Y/N?" Loki called throughout the tower.

Nothing.

Loki frowned and teleported to your exact location, startling you. Instantaneously, you slammed your computer shut and slid it out of his reach.

"Darling... What were you up to this time?" Loki asked as if questioning a guilty child.

"Nothing, Loki! Nothing at all." You smiled.

Loki raised an eyebrow, teleporting your computer to his hands easily.

"No!" you cried.

It was too late.

The damage was done.

Loki chuckled as he read through what you were reading, and even what your search history looked like. He grinned, set the computer aside, and looked back to you.

You were lying face-down in a puddle of humilation on the floor.

Loki quietly leaned down to whisper in your ear, so quietly that you were afraid he left the room.

Oh, if only that were the case for poor Y/N.

"Such a silly little mortal I have," he whispered, making you shiver. Loki sighed playfully. "I wonder what I'll do with such a silly little mortal."

As you laid on the floor, you tried to think of an escape plan. Maybe Heimdall knew of a secret realm that you could escape to.

Loki smirked, having read your mind like the nosy snowflake he is.

Or maybe you could just play dead. That sounded just as good.

Loki tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Hmmmm," he wondered aloud. "Is my silly little mortal asleep?" He poked your side, a classic trickster attempt to get a reaction out of you.

You held your breath and tensed your entire body, and yet nothing came.

Unexpectedly, you felt a smooth and gentle hand slip under your shirt and rest on your back. It felt relaxing. Perhaps Loki wasn't upset or uncomfortable, he was just -

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" you screamed, not from pain, but from the frigid sensation on your bare back. You shot up from off the floor and wrapped a nearby blanket around yourself. "LOKI! That wasn't funny!"

Loki grinned. "She's awake!"

You glared at the god.

"Okay, I'm sorry. That was a bit over the top," he said, returning back to his usual form. Loki stood, and offered his arm to you. "Come, love. Let's go to the bookstore, and I'll buy you anything you want."

"Anything?" You glanced at him, still perturbed.

"Yes, love."

"Do you have Tony's debit card?"

"When do I not have his debit card?" The mischievious glint we all know and love reappeared in his gorgeous eyes once more.

You rolled your eyes, then leaned against the man you loved so dearly.

"So, I see you like me shirtless," he winked.

"Are you ever going to let this go?" You asked, referring to the mortifying Loki fanfictions that made you swoon every time you read them.

Loki shook his head and kissed your cheek. "Not a chance, Darling."
