Y/N's POV 

As I stretched slowly, a smile grew on my face when I remembered what day it is. 

It's Valentine's Day! 

For years, I've spent Valentine's Day alone, eating ungodly amounts of chocolate. 

Today would be different.

I rolled over to face my boyfriend, Loki. As usual, he was reading a book. "Good morning, darling," he smiled at me, his green eyes sparkling into my E/C ones. "Morning, Lo," I covered a yawn with my hand.

I snuggled up to my boyfriend. Loki wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer to his side. 

"It's Valentine's Day," I said. Loki nodded. "I'm familiar," he replied. I looked surprised. "You are?" "Indeed. Thor has mentioned Jane a lot recently. Something about a diamond ring..." he trailed off.

I nodded slowly. Thor deserved so much more than Jane, and everyone knew it. 

"What is it you mortals do on this day anyway?" Loki inquired.
I blushed. "Um, it depends on the couple. Normally, I lie in bed, eating chocolate while sobbing my eyes out." 

Loki frowned at this.
"That doesn't sound pleasant," he said.
"No, it doesn't," I agreed.

After about another hour of cuddling and reading, Loki proceeded to get up. He returned to his room with a gorgeous emerald dress. "Darling, I would like you to wear this. Please be ready by six."

I smiled nervously and took the material from his cold hands. The mischevious glint in his eyes gave me chills. 

I felt scared as I walked back to my room to get ready for whatever he had planned. I unlocked my phone and put on my F/M. It didn't take long for my mood to improve. I danced in the mirror, sang along to the melody, and wore the goofiest grin. 

It was too magical. The hair, the makeup, even the drop-dead-gorgeous dress made me feel like the queen of the world. 

It was almost six, and I had just finished.
'Here we go...' I thought to myself. Loki sat at the kitchen table, a bouquet of F/F in his hand. His jaw dropped ever so slightly at the sight of me. I smiled, and I knew I was blushing. 

He stood up and handed me the flowers. "You look beautiful," he breathed, taking in every feature I possessed. 

"Thank you. You look handsome," I looked at my feet.

He did. His black suit and tie made his green eyes sparkle, and the way he looked at you made your knees buckle. Loki chuckled and offered his arm. "Shall we?" I grinned. "We shall."

Loki had taken me to a nice, quiet dinner, which he also paid for. Afterwards, we went to a bar and slow danced to my favorite song. "Happy Valentine's Day, darling," he whispered in my ear. 

It is moments like these that I wish would never end.
