Uncle Loki's POV 

I watched curiously as Thor's wife, Sif, stormed out of Y/N's room. "That child is going to give me wrinkles!" she exclaimed,  rubbing her face. 

I looked to Thor, who shook his head nervously. 

"May I?" I asked politely. Sif shot me a look. "I'm willing to try anything to convince Y/N to go to bed." 

I nodded, a reassuring smile on my face. "I'll see what I can do." 

I knocked on Y/N's door. "GO AWAY, MOM!" "It's me," I said, peeking my head through the doorway. "May I come in?" 

Y/N nodded. 

"That isn't a very nice way to speak to your mother," I commented softly, sitting on her bed. "I know," Y/N grumbled. "I'm mad at her." 

"Why is that?" I began playing with Y/N's hair. 

"She's scary." 

I held back a chuckle. "She means well. She's trying her best. Being the mother of such a young princess isn't always easy." 

"I'm a princess?" she asked, her eyes growing wide. 

I smiled. "Indeed you are, my darling." I kissed the top of her head. "It's time for bed, Princess Y/N." 

"Noooo," Y/N whined. "Please, Uncle Loki? I thought you were on my side!" 

"I'm always on your side, darling. However, if you don't go to sleep, you'll be really grumpy tomorrow. No one likes a grumpy princess." 

Y/N thought about this for a moment. "I suppose you're right. Will you read me a bedtime story?" 

"Of course, darling. Which story would you like me to read to you tonight?" 

"Y/F/B." 

"Excellent choice," I smiled at her, grabbing the book from her shelf. 

As I began reading the story, Y/N tucked herself into her bed. She acted as if she'd never heard the story before. Soon enough, she was fast asleep. 

I closed the book, quietly setting it on the nightstand. I kissed her forehead, and shut the light off. "Goodnight, princess. Sweet dreams..." 

I gently closed the door behind me. 

"How did you do it?" Thor whispered. 

I grinned. "I'm her favorite uncle, remember?"
