Loki's POV

I was relaxing in the common room with a good book when suddenly Y/N entered the tower.

I immediately sensed something was off.

Y/N came into the common room, sniffling.

When I saw the tears on her cheeks, I forgot all about the book in my hands. Teleporting to her, I asked, "Darling, what's wrong?"

Y/N covered her face with her hands, sobbing quietly. Wrapping my arms around her, I pulled her into a tight hug. I could feel her trembling within my embrace.

"Darling, please, tell me what happened."

Y/N sniffed. "Remember Y/C/N?"

I nodded.

"He... It's been a mess, lately," Y/N paused to look at her hands. "He ended whatever it was we had over text, and then he went after my best friend. Now I'm in the middle and neither of them wants anything to do with me," Y/N said, her voice cracking at the end.

"Oh, darling..." I murmured. I led her over to the couch and pulled her against me. "I'm sorry, love."

"Why do boys suck, Uncle Loki?" Y/N asked tearfully.

I chuckled and kissed her forehead. "It's in their nature, darling. Most of them will grow up... Eventually."

Y/N rested her head on my chest. "I love you, Uncle Loki."

I smiled. "I love you too, darling."

"Ugh, I can't believe I wasted my time with that bleep!" I exclaimed, laughing as I took a sip of my soda.

"I would rethink your choices if I were you."

I turned around to see a man with two daggers.

The next thing I knew, he was behind me, and I was screaming.

"OW - What the bleep?? Did you just stab me???"

"Yes, and I'll gladly do it again if you break my niece's heart again," Loki growled, disappearing with his magic.
