Mario and Kirby were now left staring at their poor destroyed building.
Kirby: My building...my beautiful, beautiful building...
Mario: Oooooo! When I find Link, I'm gonna...I'm gonna...!
???: You're gonna what?
Out from behind a nearby car parked near the building emerged Link with Pikachu on his shoulder, both looking quite disheveled.
Link: Hey guys...so...you're probably wondering what happened...
Mario: THE BUILDING'S BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED!!!!! ANHILATED!!!!! KAPUT!!!!
Pikachu: Please lay off...he's had a long day.
Kirby: Sorry...he's had a long day as well...
Mario: You don't know what I've been through!
Kirby: Yes I do...I was there...
Link: Besides...you don't know what I had to deal with...and by that I mean you didn't ask.
Mario: Well I dealt with a mouse in case you were wondering.
Pikachu: Ahem!
Mario: Sorry Chu...like he said, long day. Maybe I'll calm down if you tell me what happened here.
Link: Right-o, but first can you please put me down?
Mario then realizes in his moment of quick anger, he had somehow lifted Link off the ground.
He then realizes that he's on top of the car's trunk so that he's on the same level as Link.
Mario: Ah yes...sorry about that. Now...start from the beginning please?
Link: Okay so...first we did everything you told. Followed the notes, invited the characters you hinted at...
Mario: Ken's here?
Link: Yeah he's right over there!
Mario then looks over and sees both Ken and Incineroar behind a car.
Mario: Yo! Mr. Masters! How you doing!?
Ken: I've been better.
Mario: Hey we've all had those kinds of days!
Kirby: Like today...
Mario: Well either way, I think a good spar will do us both some good...whenever the building is reconstructed...
Pikachu: Don't forget Incineroar!
Mario: Incineroar?
Pikachu: Yeah! Incineroar!
Mario then looks over and sees the fiery cat Pokemon behind Ken, now noticing him that he had been pointed out.
Incineroar: In-cin!
Mario: You know how to fight?
Incineroar: *Flexes*
Mario: *Thumbs up*
Kirby: So...back to your guy's story...
Link: Right. So! We presented those two...
Pikachu:...and then following that...
Link: We kinda...well...
Pikachu: We did our best to...
Mario: You weren't sure what to do?
