MARKUS—
Narrator: There once was a little boy who loved Magic. He would practice it every day.
Markus: Papa, can you teach me a new trick?
Ruan: Of course, my dear son.
Narrator: The young boy learned how to perform all sorts of different tricks. He could make himself vanish in a cloud of smoke. He knew how to levitate different objects around him. But there was one trick that he wanted to perform- he wanted to have the power over life & death. He didn't tell his Papa about this. He kept it to himself.
Ruan: Markus? Are you okay? What's troubling you?
Markus: Nothing Papa.
Narrator: Markus grew up into a strong lad. His father was so proud of his son. One day- a stranger came into town. He met Ruan and his Papa.
Caeth: (Knocks on door) Do you have any spare room for a guest?
Ruan: Yes, we do. What brings you here to Nespor?
Caeth: (Eyes twinkle) Just passing through.
Ruan: This is my son~ Markus.
Caeth: (Smiles) Hello Markus. (Shakes his hand).
Narrator: Ruan & Markus took very good care of their guest. Caeth had a really warm welcome in Nespor. He watched Markus while he trained and worked on his magic tricks.
Caeth: (Snaps his fingers) Ah, there we go. Let there be light.
Ruan stares in awe at the light energy field that Caeth created. His father wonders what this stranger is up to.
Caeth: Don't worry. I have a few tricks of my own. They are only used for good fun.
Ruan: (Places his hand on his son's shoulder) You'll learn that trick soon.
Narrator: Ruan became sick and couldn't train his son for a while. So, Caeth stepped in and trained Markus.
Markus: He still thinks I'm a child. I want to learn more. Like something really powerful.
Caeth: (Laughs) There you go. Come on. Feel that energy and spark flow in you.
Markus smiled and his body was giving off a dark shadowy reddish black glow. Even his eyes changed color. They shined with a fire's glow.
Ruan came to check on his son's progress and was concerned by the state his son was in.
Markus: Papa? I feel so much stronger than ever.
Ruan: Markus (shakes his head) ...please. Stop this right now. Don't give in to the other side.
Caeth: (Chuckles) You're too late old man.
Narrator: Before Ruan knew it. A dark portal opened and Caeth stepped in.
Ruan: Son, - I am serious. You do not have to do this.
Markus: I'm sorry Father.
Narrator: The moment Markus walked right through the portal- it closed. Ruan fell to his knees & screamed. His heart ached, and Ruan didn't know if he would ever see his son again.
