Part 27

Svrok waved his hands over the smoke that came from his failed attempted spell.

"Where could they be hiding?" he asked himself.

He had heard rumors that Caeth had been spotted in a number of places with that Monster Hunter- Vanessa. Euh. This was unheard of. Vanessa Helsing was the last person who he thought Caeth would ever be seen with. Huh. Now he had to find where they were and stop them from getting even much closer.

Caeth and Svrok had always worked side by side. This girl was going to get in the way of their business. She had to be dealt with.

Svrok rubbed his chin. What could he do to make things go his way?

Ah. Yes! He knew exactly what next step to take. He rubbed his hands together and laughed maniacally. Caeth needed to get his mind back in focus.

Svrok grabbed his spell book and quickly examined which one he would use for this emergency. Hmmm. 'The Beast Daze spell.' He smiled and closed the book. He took a deep breath and chanted 'The Beast Daze spell...'

The ground shook as the spell was being cast. Svrok's eyes glowed and burned brightly like the Sun. His hands too released a bluish energy glow. The minute he finished casting the spell the ground stopped rumbling.

Svrok sighed. He hoped that his spell would work. And then again there was no going back now. Once the spell was cast, it couldn't be reversed.
