THE CRIOUX RAINFOREST
Svrok wondered what more great and peculiar beings were in Crioux. He'd heard tales of the mighty Samurai. But seeing one...now that was something that he'd never forget.
He was a curious young boy that was for sure. His parents did their best of telling him places to avoid going. Would he ever listen to their warnings? Nope. He wanted to see it all- whatever he could- for himself. With his very own two eyes.
The other children of Crioux knew how adventurous Svrok was. Their parents advised them to not follow along with any of Svrok's crazy ideas.
Svrok caught sight of a few of his buddies playing with their kites. He didn't feel like doing that today. After seeing the Samurai, he now dreamed of becoming a warrior as well.
While the other kids played with their kites, Svrok had a twinkle in his eyes. He knew where he wanted to explore for any more wariors, or magical beings.
When he got to the Rainforest, he climbed a tree and he saw how far the village was. The sun was still shining brightly in the sky. That was good. He could still make it back home before sundown.
Svrok came down from the tree, and he heard a gentle sound of somebody singing. He ran towards the calming melodic voice.
By a small lake, Svrok found the person who had been singing. He looked at the person who was now staring at him. She didn't look human. She was covered in some green cloth, or material from head to toe. Or was her skin green.
Svrok: Erm, sorry for interrupting you. By the way, my name is Svrok.
The lady smiled at the young child. He smiled back.
Mondel: What are you doing here in the Crioux Rainforest and all by yourself.
Svrok squinted his eyes and told the lady that she wasn't his mother.
Mondel: (Chuckles) I am sure your parents have told you not to wander about by yourself.
Svrok: They have. I just wanted to explore the area by myself.
Mondel waved her hand and a bed of flowers appeared right near Svrok's feet. He looked in shock and awe. And he wondered how this lady was able to do that.
Mondel then snapped her fingers and the water in the lake formed some tiny droplets that rose in the air. These drops spun around and formed a large circle. Then the one giant drop shot way high in the sky. A short while later it started to rain.
Svrok raised one eyebrow. Who was this lady?
Mondel: I think you better get marching home before the sun leaves.
Svrok nodded his head. He waved goodbye to the lady. She waved back and handed him a bunch of flowers.
When Svrok got home, his Mom was in the garden watering the vegetables. Svrok waited for her to be done. Then he handed her the flowers.
Svrok's Mom asked where he got the flowers from. He told her from the lady of the Rainforest. His Mom later placed the flowers in a jar. She smiled when she realized that her son had been with Mondel, the protector of the Crioux Rainforest.
