Caitlin's POV

The next morning we wake up to the house being completely trashed. We spend most of the morning cleaning up the mess. After it's all cleaned up we get ready to go shopping at one of the largest malls in LA.

I get ready and walk out to see Cameron sitting alone on the couch in the living room with his head slightly down. I can tell something's wrong.

"What's wrong?" I ask. He looks up surprised to who it is.

"Nothing," he says. I sit down next to him. I wait to see if he says anything, I'm not going to pry. If he wants to talk he will.

"Well it's just..." he starts. "In freshman year of high school I didn't know very many people and didn't really have any friends. I remember being kinda depressed. It was so hard for me that year and the beginning of sophomore year."

There was a pause. Hurt he goes on, "I remember praying to God for some friends."

"Cam you don't have to-" I cut in realizing how hard it must be to bring up these memories. Tears start forming in his eyes and I hug him.

I couldn't imagine what he felt like. It surprised me, him saying that. Cameron is such a funny and sweet guy, I thought he'd have tons of friends.

"But in sophomore year I met this guy named Chris and we became best friends," he says a little happier. "He just had a great personality and he was such a generous, nice person. He introduced me to other people and I made more friends."

He paused for a bit, like waiting for the worst part of the story. "But about 2 years ago he went on a mission trip with his church to Peru for 2 years. I haven't seen him since he left and I've been missing him ever since. I wouldn't be who I am without him."

"Did something happen?" I ask now panicking that something happened while he was over there.

"No the opposite actually," he says smiling. "We were skyping the other day and he's coming home soon!"

"Oh my gosh Cam thats awesome!" I exclaim.

He says after awhile, "It's so weird thinking back to when I asked God for some friends, and what it was like then, and now He's given me so many amazing people in my life that I'm so glad I met."

I smile, "Well I'm glad I met you too."

-

"So..?" Kaylor asks as she steps out of the dressing room in an adorable top.

"Awww that looks so cute! Get it," I say honestly. We are now in Forever 21, Kaylor's favourite store. It's just so much fun shopping with my best friends.

Mahogany, Kaylor and I went shopping, along with Aaron, Nash, and Matt. We lost them somewhere in the mall and have no clue where they are.

"Where are the guys?" Mahogany asks and as soon as she does we spot them. They each have a couple bags. Nash has some new sunglasses on.

"Wow that was fast!" I exclaim.

"Ya well were not slow shoppers," Nash says in a deep voice trying to be cool. He's obviously trying to show off his new shades.

"Those sunglasses don't make you any cooler," Aaron says. "And why are you wearing them inside?" I laugh.

"You have to ruin my moment?" Nash pouts while taking off the sunglasses.

"Are you girls almost done yet?" Matt whines.

"So I hear you and Shawn are going out tonight!" Kaylor exclaims excitedly ignoring Matt's comment. Matt rolls his eyes, mutters to himself and walks away.

"Ya," I say. "But I have no clue what to wear!"

She walks away and comes back with the perfect outfit.

I exclaim, "It's perfect!"

When I got back from shopping there was a note on my bed saying:

Meet me at 6 on the beach

~Shawn

It's now 6 and I check myself in the mirror one more time before heading out.

I walk along the beach for a couple minutes before I stop surprised at what I see. A couple feet away from me is a blanket with a picnic on it, Shawn sitting there waiting for me.

His eyes go wide when he sees me. "You look beautiful!" He says stunned.

I look down at what I'm wearing. Kaylor picked out a pink floral sundress and white cardigan. "Thanks," I blush as I sit down across from him.

We eat the picnic that Shawn packed. He then plays his guitar a little.

By now the sun is setting and we sit there, facing the ocean, watching the sun set. His arm is around me and I'm cuddled up to him. Its really romantic, like a scene from a movie.

Suddenly he pulls his arm away from me. "Shawn what's wrong?" I ask worried.

"I just don't know about you going to the Janoskians house. I saw how Jai looked at you last night," he mutters jealousy in his voice.

"Shawn it will be fine," I reassure him.

"Well you shouldn't go," he states.

"You can't tell me what to do Shawn," I state calmly.

"I don't want you to talk to him," he says.

"Oh so now I can't even talk to any other guys?" I protest defensively.

"Well I would prefer you don't," he replies.

I roll my eyes. I can't believe him right now. "How many girls flirted with you on the tour?"

"Thats different!" He shouts.

"Is it?" I ask.

"Your acting so ridiculous right now!"

"Me?" I ask with hurt in my voice. "You brought this up."

"Don't blame this on me," he states. I roll my eyes. "I think we have some trust issues here."

"No I think you have trust issues here Shawn," I reply.

I start to get up to walk back to the mansion. "Caitlin, wait!" He grabs my hand stopping me. I jerk it away and go back to the mansion. When I get there I have tears streaming down my face.

*****

A/N I know this was a really depressing chapter with Cameron but I wanted to include it when I found out that Cameron and Chris were skyping a couple months ago!
