Chapter 34

Kaylor 's POV
June 30th
~Previously~
"Wow you look beautiful!" Jack comments as he opens the car door for me.

"Thanks you. You look very handsome in your dress pants and plaid shirt," he blushes and starts the car, "Where are we going?" I ask. Jack smiles mysteriously.

"Somewhere new."

"Why won't you tell me where we are going?" I whine.

"Cause its a secret. You'll love it, I promise." he winks at me, then turns to look at the road ahead of him.

A few minutes later, Jack pulls over.
"What? Where are we?" I ask. We are in the middle of nowhere.

"We arent there yet," he takes out a blindfold, "I want you to be really surprised." I let him put the blindfold on me willingly, thinking of how romantic this is. I feel Jack pull away from the side of the road, and continue on the drive.

"Why is it taking so long to get there?" I ask impatiently.

"I wanted to make sure you couldn't see where we were going before I put the blindfold on you. And besides, it's only been a few minutes."

"Feels like forever." I mumble and Jack chuckles.

A few minutes later, the car stops.
"We're here babe. I hope you like my surprise." I take off my blindfold and gasp. its beautiful and it's an amusement park! At night!

"Wha-...how..." im speechless.
"The park has night hours, and only a few reserved tickets are open. I know its not a big huge fancy park, but its all I could afford at the moment. We are two out of the twenty people who got night tickets, so it'll be quiet and the lines will be short. we have until midnight. Thats when the park closes." he blushes, "Is this okay?"

"Omgoodness babe its more than okay! It's amazing! Let"s go!" I grab his hand and rush into the park.

12:00am

"That was amazing!" I yawn as we walk out of the park.

"Im glad you had fun babe, now lets get home before you fall asleep. I don't want to carry you in." My yawn is contagious and he yawns too.

"What, I'm too heavy?" I joke. He laughs and shakes his head.

"Thats not what I meant babe. It just might look funny."

"Don't worry, they trust us." I say as he opens the door for me and then walks to his side. He starts the car and I curl up in the shotgun seat. As we pull away from the bright lights of the theme park, I change the music to some soothing Britt Nicole, and as we turn onto the freeway, I close my eyes and start to drift off. Before I do though, I hear Jack say: "Too late."

I wake to a bright and sunshiny morning. The sun is shining, the tank is clean, and we are getting out- the tank is clean. The tank is clean! I giggle and check the weather. It's going to be warm...as usual. I put on blue high waisted shorts with lace and a yellow striped crop top. I add an owl necklace and a heart studs, then head to the bathroom. Caitlin is there when I arrive.

"Morning!" I cheerily say as I grab out my toothbrush.

"Happy much?" Caitlin asks with her one eyebrow raised. She then remembers the date, "Ooooh how was it!!??!" She pesters and I blush.
"Awesome. He took me to an amusement park and we just did the fun rides until it closed. I blush some more.

"Fun rides...?"

"The roller coasters...and the Ferris Wheel. He made me go on the latter though it wasn't my choice!" Caitlin laughs.

"What did you do on the Ferris Wheel?" She asks with a glimmer in her eye.

"We...kissed. But not the whole time. He rocked the cart back and forth to scare me...and it worked."

"Awwww that's so cute!" She says. We both finish getting ready and head downstairs.

We end up chilling for the whole day, not doing much. We did play volleyball, which I whooped at. All in all, it was just livin' in paradise.
