Kaylor's POV
"So...how was your evening?" Jack asks me. I giggle.
"I loved it, thanks for everything!" I put my head on his shoulder. We are in Central Park, laying on the grass, just killing time.
"Your welcome." He kisses the top of my head. "You're totally worth it." We stare up at the stars.
"You know, I think I might be falling for you." He whispers in my ear.
"What's holding you back?" I ask with a glint of teasing in my eyes.
"Nothing."
"Then why aren't you sure?"
"Fine, I love you. And I know I've only known you for 3 days, but when I first laid eyes on you, and saw who you were and how you acted, I knew I was in love. I love you Kaylor." Tears stream down my face. "Please say something baby."
"Jack, I like you, I like you a lot. But, I can't love you, not yet. Maybe in my heart i already do, but I'm saving my I love you for the guy that I'm going to spend the rest of my life with. Maybe you are the one Jack, but I don't know that yet. Jack, please, don't give up on me. Just give me time." I look into his beautiful brown eyes, hoping for a response. The tears are blurring my vision, but I keep my eyes on him. Finally, he looks at me.
"Ok baby, I can wait for you. Just don't forget that I love you." I nod and he pulls me into his embrace.
We meet everyone at the airport after our date. Nash and I's flight leaves at 10:30pm and it's only 8:30, so we have some time to wait.
Taylor's flight leaves in 15 minutes, so we walk to his gate to say goodbye. We exchange numbers and promise to text. When he walks onto the plane, we walk to Matt's gate, and see him off. It's really sad to see my friends go.
At 9:30, everyone has left except the Jacks, Nash and I. My phone is now bursting with new contacts, 11 in all.
(That's how many contacts I gained, not how many I have.)
"Flight 327 to Omaha is boarding first class passengers only." A voice says over the intercom. I sigh.
"That's you Jack." I say to both of them.
"Let me say goodbye?" Jack Glilinsky asks his best friend.
"Sure, I'll save your seat." Jack Johnson turns to me, "bye Kaylor, I'll miss you." He gives me a bear hug. I start to tear up.
"Take good care of him for me. I'm going to miss you so much! Don't forget to text me!" I kiss Jack J on the cheek and he heads off towards the plane.
"I'll give you guys a sec." Nash says and leaves us alone at the gate.
"So...umm..." Jack starts but I pull him in for a kiss. When we finally break apart, we are breathless.
"I'm going to miss you babe." He says, our faces just inches away.
"I'm going to miss you so much! Promise you'll text me!" Tears start to roll down my cheeks.
"I promise." He wipes away my tears, but more keep coming.
"Shhh. Don't cry pretty girl, it's going to be ok. I'll see you again, I promise." I can't respond, I'm too choked up. The attendant calls the last group to board.
"I have to go, I'll see you in LA, ok? I love you." He cups my face in his hands. I whimper and nod. He leans down, and kisses me. When he pulls away, I hug him one last time. Then, with a kiss on the top of my head, he steps onto the plane.
