Livin' In Paradise (A Magcon Fanfic)

Chapter 19

Caitlin's POV

After we do our chant they introduce everyone one at a time. All the boys stop to hug and take pictures with the fans. When they get to Matt, he runs really fast slapping all the fans hands along the way.

"Caitlin!" I hear a familiar voice shouting my name from behind me. I turn and see Aaron holding a red Magcon Tour sweater. He throws it at me and I barely catch it.

"What? Why?" I ask confused.

"Bart wanted you to have it," he replies. I put the sweater on. It fits perfectly.

Mahogany is standing in front of me. "DJ Mahogany Lox!" Tons of cheering. She walks out there and to the DJ booth on the stage.

Then they announce me. I did this yesterday, so I'm not as nervous. But theres still that bit of nervousness in my stomach. I want these girls to like me. I walk up there giving high fives to some of the girls. And the show begins.

A lot of the stuff that happened yesterday happens tonight. We all sit on the side of the stage while others are preforming. I meet Dillon Rupp for the first time. His personality is a lot like Taylor's.

"Hey guys," Taylor says to the audience. "Were gonna bring Dillon up here." The girls scream so loud as he walks on stage. "There is only 1 rule tonight. That everyone has a good time!" And they sing Buckwild, the audience, Kaylor and I singing along.

"Good times and good vibes. No ifs, ands or buts...We gonna party buckwild." Its the perfect song to sing right now. I've had so much fun this weekend with these boys. I can't believe were all going home tomorrow.

Jack and Jack sing Paradise and Distance. Everyone knows the words so we all sing along.

Jack G pulls Kaylor up to sing Flights with them. Her voice matches perfectly with Jack's.

I turn to Bart while they are setting up for the next performer. "Thank you for the sweater. But you didn't have to-"

"Don't be silly, your apart of this family now," he interrupts. He didn't have to get it for me. He's given me so much this weekend. He's payed for everything. Bart is really nice and close to the boys. It truly is a family.

Dustyn Carpenter sings Stay With Me, also playing the piano. It's amazing. He actually has a really nice voice.

Jacob then goes up there and sings a couple songs. Jacob and I have became really close, as friends. At first I thought he was really quiet, but once I started to get to know him I realized he's not quiet at all.

Mahogany plays the Lipgloss song and then the nae nae. It's so funny Kaylor and I can't help but laugh.

Shawn then goes up there and sings a lot of songs including As Long As You Love Me, Skyscraper and Sing.

"This next song, I wrote for one of my best friends," Shawn says. "Sing along if you know the words."

"Oh I love his teeth, his hair. How I love his hair. And I just want him in my bed tonight," he sings. By the time he gets to the chorus everyone is singing. "Cameron Dallas is my boyfriend and I love him so."

Jack G and Shawn sing a song together which sounds perfect. Then Jacob, Dustyn and Shawn sing Wanted. Jacob and Shawn sing Lego house together, while Jacob plays guitar. Their voices sound perfect together.

After that, Shawn sits down on the stool. He asks the guy to bring a second stool. Bart turns to us, the look on his face saying, what is he doing? I shrug my shoulders. It obviously wasn't in the plans if Bart doesn't know.

"I wanna bring someone up on stage for this next song," he informs the audience. Everyone in Magcon look so confused. "She means a lot to me." For a couple minutes there is silence. "Caitlin. Will you come up here?" And all of a sudden the crowd bursts into cheers.

Before I know it I'm up on stage sitting on the stool with a microphone set up in front of me.

"I told you I would make you sing one day," he whispers, referencing back to that one day in his room. He doesn't tell me what song were singing, which makes me nervous.

He strums some chords on his guitar and starts singing. "I've tried playing it cool, but when I'm looking at you I can't ever be brave, cause you make my heart race." I listen to the lyrics knowing he means them. I'm surprised at his song choice. One Thing by One Direction. It's an old song but still good.

He looks at me, telling me to sing. "Shot me out of the sky. You're my kryptonite. You keep making me weak. Yeah, frozen and can't breathe," I sing.

"So get out, get out, get out of my head. And fall into my arms instead. I don't, I don't, don't know what it is, But I need that one thing. And you've got that one thing," we both sing together.

As were singing we look at each other. He stares deep into my eyes. I mean every word I'm singing. I really do like him.

After the show we all go and chill backstage for a bit. As soon as I enter the room everyone is in, Jacob engulfs me in a hug.

"You were amazing! I didn't know you could sing," he says.

I smile. "Thanks."

I go to Kaylor and hug her. "Wow you sounded amazing singing with Jack G!"

"Thanks," she replies. "You were also amazing!"

"Thanks," I laugh.

Shawn then comes over to me. "Not good, huh?" He says. I smile. "That was complete BS, your amazing!"

"Thank you!" I reply. "Shawn I need to talk to you," I say, now serious. "Alone." I walk out of the big room and into one of the many dressing rooms, Shawn closes the door behind him. Might as well get this over with.

"Shawn, it feels like you've been avoiding me," I tell him.

He looks down nervously. "Ya, I just didn't know what to say." We've been best friends since we were little and suddenly he doesn't know what to say to me?

"About what?" I ask, urging him to get it out. Theres a pause as he fidgets and looks down.

"Yesterday," he starts. "When I was singing to you. I meant every word I sang. I've been meaning to ask you something for awhile now."

There is a long silence. I'm about to say something when he says, "Caitlin, will you go out with me?"

I smile and reply, "Yes, of course I will!"

Later when Kaylor, Mahogany, Kat and I are all chilling in our room, there is a knock on the door. Mahogany opens it to Jack G and Shawn. "All of us are going skating in Central Park. Do you guys wanna come?" Jack G asks.

"Yessss!! Kaylor replies.

"Ya, but I can't skate," I reply looking down, feeling kind of embarrassed that I can't skate.

Shawn replies, "Thats ok. I'll teach you!"
