Chapter 36

Kaylor's POV

July 4th

Its finally July fourth!!! I couldn't wait for this day, because I have this new outfit that is American colours. It's not a flag or anything, but it's cute. I got it from Forever 21, which is my absolute favourite store in the world! I could spend hours in there...

Anyways I get changed into my new outfit; dark short shorts, a grey tee and a red and blue plaid shirt. I roll up the plaid shirts sleeves so it's cooler, and put on some makeup.

After I get changed and stuff I run downstairs and grab some grapes from the fridge. I pop one on my mouth and walk over to where some of the group are sitting, and plop onto Jack's lap.

"Hey babe, tired?" he whispers in my ear.

"Nah not really, are you?" I giggle, turn to look at him, and pop another grape into my mouth.

"Ya. A little." He yawns.

"Really? Why?" I ask confused.

"I was...I just couldn't fall asleep." He switches answers quickly.

"Babe, I can tell when your lying. Why are you so tired?"

"Fine...I was...I was..." He sighs, "I was reading The Fault In Our Stars." He looks down and I can see that he's blushing.

"Oooooh!! What part did you get to?" I ask after I finish laughing along with the other boys who heard.

"Can we just talk about this later?" He asks me, then looks at the boys. He looks a little perturbed.

"Sure babe, we can do that." I giggle and pop the last grape in my mouth. We sit in silence for a little, listening to all the conversations of who is coming over for tonight's party.

By lunch everyone is up, including Matt. Usually we all sleep in till like 2, but we have to prepare for the party. I grab a grilled cheese sandwich, scarf it down, and meet with the girls to start decorating. We put lights up all around the house, hang streamers from the ceiling, put chairs around the pool, and after that we prepare the food for the party.

At around 5:45, everything is ready. We set out the goodies, and wait for the people to arrive.

By the time the sun starts to set, the house is packed. People are everywhere, and I've met so many famous people. I even got to meet the Janoskians (and I got Jai and Luke confused like six times already) and they told really funny stories. Luke has so much sass, it's hilarious!

Cameron ushers everyone outside when it becomes dark, and I still haven't seen Jack once. Now that it's dark, it'll be impossible to find him.

"Fireworks start in five!" Nash yells over the crowd and I sigh. I really wanted to see the fireworks with Jack. I'm a romantic like that.

As I take one last desperate scan before the fireworks start, some whispers in my ear. "Looking for someone?" I turn to see Jack smiling behind me, and as we kiss, the fireworks explode.

The next morning I sleep in, because we are only going shopping, and there's no need to get up early for that. I put on a clean shirt, but don't bother changing my Tigger pj pants.

I walk into the living room, and gasp. It's a huge mess; there's food everywhere, garbage all over the floor, stains on the couches and even smudges on the wall!

Mahogany, Cameron, Taylor and Carter are already up and cleaning, so I grab a pail and start cleaning the gross wall. As people wake up, they join in. The house was so gross, that it took us an hour to clean. We even found some stranglers, who we woke up and kicked out right away.

Once the mansion is sparkling again, I head up to have a shower. I feel as dirty as the house did before we cleaned it. I scrub myself clean, and then change into my comfiest shorts, and my Tigger shirt. (It's kinda a theme today;). A few minutes later, we head out to brave to crowds of the L.A. Malls.
