Chapter 29

Caitlin's POV

I wake up the next morning to the sun streaming in my window. It's supposed to be really hot today. I can't believe the temperature in LA. It's SO hot!
I get out of bed excitedly. It's the first full day of this amazing summer in LA. I'm here with my 13 best friends for the whole summer, it's gonna be so much fun!
I go to Kaylor and I's shared bathroom. When I get to the bathroom Kaylor is in there getting ready for the day.
"Good morning," she mumbles out through toothpaste in her mouth. I laugh my head off and soon so does she.
"Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it's a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?" I reply. We both laugh knowing exactly where the quote came from.
"We need to have a LOTR's marathon!" She exclaims. I agree. We both love Lord Of The Rings. One of the many things we have in common.
"So what are we doing today?" I ask.
"I think were going to the beach," she replies. I love the beach and I can't wait.
I clean my face, brush my teeth and do my hair. I don't worry about make-up because were going to the beach. Plus I have the worst luck with my mascara never being waterproof.
We walk out into the kitchen where most of the boys, and Mahogany, are. Everyone is there except for Matt.
"Where's Matt?" I ask.
"He's a lazy bum and is still sleeping," Carter tells us and we laugh.
"Good morning beautiful," my boyfriend says and kisses my cheek.
"Morning."
"Man I really miss Tim Hortons!" Shawn admits.
"Really Shawn? The first day in the states and you already miss Tims?" I laugh.
"What's Tim Hortons?" Aaron asks. Everyone else agrees they don't know what it is.
Shawn and I stare at them with our mouths dropped. "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" It kinda sucks being the only Canadians. They just don't understand.
30 minutes later Matt finally comes down the stairs. "He's still alive!" Nash says sarcastically.
We eat breakfast and then get ready for the beach. It's so cool because we have our own private beach. We decide we'll go to the main public beach a different day.
The plan is to bring a picnic to the beach for lunch. It's so nice having our own beach steps away from the house. I think the boys appreciate it too, not getting mobbed by fans.
I change into my pink bikini and grab my beach bag. I put on my flip flops and my white sunglasses.
"OH MY GOSH were twinsies!!" Matt screams when he sees my sunglasses. We have almost the same pair. He takes a selfie with me and posts it on instagram. Then we head down to the beach.

When we get to the beach we lay out our towels and set our stuff on the sand. Kaylor, Mahogany and I were just gonna tan for a little.
But Jacob comes over and pulls me up. "That's no fun!" He complains and drags me to the water. The water is cold but it feels nice and refreshing.
I'm just going to get in slowly because the water feels freezing cold. But Shawn splashes me. I splash him back.
"Your gonna get it!" He yells laughing and runs over to me. He grabs my waist from behind and I can't help but laugh. He pulls me under the water.
After we get out of the ocean, the boys brought a football so their tossing the football around. Mahogany, Kaylor and I finally get to tan and just enjoy the nice day.
"HEADS UP!" I hear Hayes yell. The next thing we know Mahogany gets smoked in the head with the football.
"Oh my gosh are you ok?" Kaylor and I ask worried. The football hit her pretty hard.
"Ya I'm fine," she replies.
Hayes comes over to get the ball. "I'm so sorry Mahogany!" She shoves him and he lands in the sand. We all laugh.
Whatever Kaylor was upset about last night, it seems like this fun day is getting her mind off of it. Still I wish she would tell me. I want to comfort her, as her best friend, through whatever she's going through.
We have our picnic. Mahogany, Kaylor and I play with a beach ball which took Jack J and Jack G combined, forever to blow up. I don't even know.
After we go back to the house. I have a shower before supper. Apparently Nash and Cameron are making it. Yes Nash is helping make it. I'm a little bit worried.
