"No he's in his room with an attitude," I chuckled.

"Why?" Mariah asked me as she sat down with me on the couch. I called her over to hang out since Jahseh locked himself in the room.

"Cause he got mad that I didn't feel like helping out with renovating the room he's turning into the baby's room," I explained.

"Why not?"

"Because it's not that deep," I said.

"He wants your input on it cause its obviously important to him," she explained to me. "And it's your first baby, go all out. You only get to experience your first baby one time."

"Well when you put it like that.." I sighed.

"But you couldn't listen when I said it?" Jahseh said from the hallway.

I just sighed and sat there waiting for him to say what he needs to say.

"I have a doctors appointment today, are you coming?" He asked me.

"You want me to come?" I asked.

"Of course I want you to come, it's our baby," he told me.

"Okay," I looked at Mariah, "uhm I'll just call you later alright?"

"Yeah, let me know how the appointment goes and you be careful," she looked at Jahseh who only smiled back at her.

"Will do," he chuckled.

"Here's the baby's head right here," the doctor pointed at the monitor, showing jahseh and I the different parts of the baby. "It looks like you are about 9 weeks along, so that's just about two months."

"Wow," Jahseh chuckled. "That explains a lot."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I thought I had the flu like two months ago I was throwing up like every morning and the smell of sea food made me so sick and I loved seafood. I can't stand the smell of steak either."

"Ouu and I know how you feel about your steak," I laughed.

"Shut up," jahseh glared at me as the doctor chuckling, removing the monitor from jahseh's stomach.

"Okay, I'll see you in a month and we want to avoid all means of stress and take this stage of the pregnancy very seriously because you are not out of the danger zone for miscarriage yet," the doctor explained. "And make sure you take all your vitamins."

"Okay," Jahseh agreed and began to wipe the Jelly off of his small tummy. He is so skinny it's adorable but too bad that weight is about to come for his ass.

The doctor left the room after printing us some photos and giving us a little bit more information that we needed.

"What do you wanna do now?" Jahseh asked me as we finally settled inside of the car.

"We can go shopping for the nursery and pick out some pain colors," I suggested.

"No, that's okay," he sighed.

"What?" I was shocked he would turn this idea down.

"You don't really want to so it's fine, I can't make you," he shrugged and started the car.

He pulled out of the parking lot and started to drive back to the house.

"But you want to," I told him.

"Not anymore," he said. "I want to go to sleep, can we not talk about this anymore."

"I- okay," I agreed. I don't understand pregnant people.
