I laughed as I watched Stokeley try and figure out how to work the lights, "what the hell?"
"This is why I don't visit rich people, what kind of weirdo ass light switch is this," he smacked his lips.
I rolled my eyes as I grabbed the remote that controls the lights and turned them off.
I felt the bed shift next to me and Stokeley climbed in. "This doesn't even feel real."
"What doesn't?" I asked as I moved closer to him, laying my head on his chest.
"Being here. With you. In a bed. In your house," he sighed. "It's just different."
"Yeah but I like it," I smiled.
"Me too," he squeezed me close to him with one arm and kissed the top of my head.
"Stokeley?"
"Hmm?"
"Are you sure you and your boyfriend are done and you want me?"
"Yes I'm sure," his voice sent vibrations throughout my body. "Are you sure you want me?"
"I've wanted you since the day that I met you," I admitted.
"I'm glad to hear it cause I'm not going anywhere," he chuckled. "It's you and me."
"And our baby," I said it aout loud but it still didn't feel real.
"Yes and our baby. What do you think it's gonna be?" He asked me.
"I want a boy," I admitted. "I wouldn't know what to do with a girl."
"I don't care what it is as long as it's healthy," Stokeley admitted, "cause this is different."
"Yeah... my mom is gonna be so mad," I frowned.
"Why? Cause of me?"
"No because I stepped out on my wife and had an affair and now I'm pregnant," I explained.
"Your wife stepped out on you and got pregnant too," he added.
"Yeah but I know better, she raised me better," I explained.
"Well all I know is you better not step out on me cause I will kill you," he slowly snaked his hand around my neck.
"I won't, I love it here," I smiled. "I feel safe in your arms."
"I'm glad, I want you to feel safe," he told me. "Always."
