I sighed as I put the car in park and grabbed my phone, stuffing it in my pocket, "you ready?" I asked him.
"It's a butterfly museum," I explained. "Someone recommended it at work I thought it could be fun."
"Yeah, I love butterflies. Let's go," he said excitedly as he grabbed his phone and unbuckled his seatbelt.
I got out of the car and walked over to his side, opening the door for him. I grabbed his hand to help him step down.
He stepped out of the car and I closed the door behind him. Still holding onto his hand, I backed him up against the door of my car. "You look really handsome." I told him.
"Thank you," he blushed. "You don't look too bad yourself." He looked me up and down and licked his lips.
One thing I've always loved about jahseh is he didn't care. Everything he says is exactly the way he thought it in his head. He's bold and he don't give two fucks. I just love it.
I dipped my head down and kissed his lips. "Come on."
I took his hand and we headed to the entrance of the butterfly museum. We walked inside of the building and headed straight for the front counter to pay.
"Hello welcome to butterfly world! To what do I owe the pleasure?" A bubbly little white girl greeted us.
"Hey, uh how much are the packages?" I asked.
"So package number one is the standard package it just comes with a tour and one picture and it's $40 a person. Package number two is the exclusive package it comes with a tour where you touch the butterflies and more. It comes with a free item from the gift shop and two pictures. It's $50 per person."
"That's alot of money for something nature provides in the first place," Jahseh looked at her like she was crazy.
"We'll take package number two for two," I smiled at her and started to grab my wallet, taking out my debit card.
Jahseh watched me swipe my card and pay for the total which was $134.57 after taxes. They really did too much with those prices but you can't put a price on happiness and I just know Jahseh is going to love this so much.
He smiled, "get you a rich baby daddy. 10/10 I recommend it."
The white girl laughed at his joke before hanging us out tickets, "have a nice night"
We thanked her and went our ways. We walked over to the door where the tour was being held and I handed our tickets to the woman who was working in front of the door.
"Have a nice night!" She smiled at us and let us through the door.
As soon as we walked in the door we were immediately outside in a beautiful green garden decorated with flowers and butterflies everywhere.
The tour guide lady caught our attention, "welcome to butterfly world! My name is Tonya, I'll be your tour guide tonight! If at any point you have any questions at all feel free to ask."
"Thank you," jahseh smiled at her before looking around excitedly.
"Okay follow me," she started walking down the pathway and made a left turn. "These are glasswing butterflies."
She stopped and we were surrounded by these butterflies that literally looked like they had glass for wings. They were honestly really beautiful.
"Wow!" Jahseh smiled as he caught one on his finger, "do you guys sell them?"
"We do," Tonya smiled.
I sighed. Great now I'm going to have to buy him some butterflies.
"I want this one." Jahseh told me.
I nodded my head, "alright."
He smiled and we continued walking down the path, him carrying the butterfly with us.
"These are the- oh wow!"
I jumped away from jahseh, seeing all of the blue butterflies swarm him. A few of them landed on his body and he just giggled. "awww babe can I get these ones too!"
I was completely terrified and fascinated at the same time. Most of the butterflies landed on his baby bump, making me smile.
"These are the blue morpho butterfly," she smiled as she watched in awe as all the butterflies were completely attracted to Jahseh.
I watched as jahseh smiled, play with the butterflies. He slowly walked over to me, still holding the glass butterfly on his finger. "This is so cool! They love me."
"I think they're attracted to your energy. You have great energy," Tonya explained.
We finished up the rest of the tour and jahseh picked out a few more butterflies that he wanted. When we got to the gift shop he picked out the supplies he needed to take care of them and I paid for everything of course.
Now we were finally getting settled in the car, "so we can drop the butterflies back at your house and then go to dinner?" I suggested.
"Okay," he smiled as he watched them fly around in the spacious cage I purchased for them.
"Did you have fun? What did you think?" I asked.
"I've never been on a date like this before but it was so much fun! This might be the best date I've ever been on," he smiled at me.
It made my heart glow, seeing him look at me like that again.
All I want is to see him happy and to be happy with him. We're going to do it right this time.
He's the one I want to marry.
