Chaeyoung

"You good?"

Jaehyun asked as he looked at me over his shoulder. We're pedaling slowly as we rode uphill.

"Yeah,"

I exhaled heavily when we reached the flat road. Jaehyun chuckled and looked at me again over his shoulder. My legs are tired so my pedaling slowed down even more. When I looked at him, I noticed him slowing down so I could keep up.

"Let's take a rest first." I nodded at what he said. When he stopped his bike, I did the same. I watched him get off his bike as I panted for air.

"Wait here."

He walked away and went inside a convenience store located across the street. I took my eyes off him and started tying my hair into a ponytail.

When I raised my gaze, my lips parted open when I saw who's approaching me. He stopped near me, flashing me his charming smile.

"Hi."

I blinked rapidly. "H-Hello."

"I'm Park Jimin. We study at the same school." He introduced himself, smiling. My face heated in response.

"I know. I'm Park Chaeyoung." I smiled back.

"I know who you are." He said, letting out a chuckle when he saw the look of surprise on my face.

"You're pretty famous in our class." He explained, scratching the back of his neck shyly. My eyes drifted behind him when I saw Jaehyun coming. Jimin looked behind him too and saw Jaehyun who's gazing back at him with a calm expression.

"Jae, this is Jimin. Jimin, this is Jaehyun, my best friend." I spoke when Jaehyun stood by my side. Jimin smiled at him while Jaehyun just nodded to greet him. Jimin cleared his throat before looking back at me.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Chaeyoung. I'll go now." I nodded at him, smiling. He glanced at Jaehyun first before walking away. I can't help but grin as my eyes watched his figure walk away.

"Why is he here?" I fixed my gaze on Jaehyun and let out a loud laugh.

"I don't know. Is he not allowed here?"

"What did you talk about?" My gaze went down to his hands, and I smiled when I saw two cartons of banana milk. Quickly, I took one from him.

"We were having a pretty good conversation when you came and scared him away." I flashed a sarcastic smile at him before sipping through the straw. With a crease on his forehead, he walked to his bike and sat on it.

"I did nothing."

"Just pretend I believed that one."

"You find him handsome, don't you?" He asked casually.

"Mmh.." I chuckled. "Anyway, what was the meeting about?"

"Coach just informed us that we will practice early this year." He replied.

"Oh, right. It's the last year."
