"Baa!" Yugyeom breathed out loudly into my ear, causing me to flinch away from him. I shot him a glare before proceeding to eat the food that was prepared for us the moment we arrived.
Bambam's birthday had just finished the other day, and I found myself at another birthday party again—Jungkook's cousin's seventh birthday, to be specific. It's a good thing, though. Many birthdays mean free foods.
I haven't had both breakfast and lunch since the twerp by the name of Kim Yugyeom forced me to leave immediately after I woke up at 3 in the afternoon.
"What did Jungkook say?" I asked him with my mouth slightly full. Earlier while we were in the middle of eating, Jungkook came back to our table and asked Yugyeom to come with him to do God knows what.
"There's a bit of a problem. Sanghee's crying and she doesn't want to leave her room." He answered.
"Huh? Why?"
"She overheard that the hired mascot canceled at the last minute due to an emergency. I suggested that we'd replace the mascot with a clown but she only cried even more. I forgot she's scared of clowns."
"Stupid. Where's Jungkook?"
"I left him outside Sanghee's room. Why don't you go and try to persuade her?"
"Yah, she's closer with you. Plus, she dislikes me because she saw me eating the lollipop I didn't know she owns." I rolled my eyes when I recalled the memory. We were having a movie marathon that time at Jungkook's house when I saw a lollipop on the counter. The kid had just came back to the house with Jungkook's father when she saw me sucking on it. She then cried and started hitting me with her little hands.
"Don't you think this is the right chance for you to make her change her impression about you?" He wiggled his eyebrows. And before I even knew it, he was already pulling me away to the stairs, stripping me of my rights to refuse.
Sanghee's mother—Mrs. Jeon—was standing outside her child's room, persistently talking to her with a calm voice.
I don't think I could remain calm when my visitors are waiting.
"Where's Jungkook?" Yugyeom asked her politely.
"He went away in a hurry. I don't know where he's going though." Mrs. Jeon said. She's the younger sister of Jungkook's father.
"Chaeyoung, why don't you talk to Sanghee? We don't want to keep the other visitors waiting, right?" Yugyeom turned to me, an annoying smile plastered on his ugly face.
So what? How is that my business?
I glanced at Mrs. Jeon and saw her looking at me expectantly. I secretly pinched Yugyeom's side in annoyance, causing him to jerk.
"Ow,"
"What's the matter?" Mrs. Jeon worriedly asked.
"Oh, I think a cockroach just bit me." He smiled. Taking a mental note to pull his hair out later, I walked closer to the door and knocked twice.
