The moment we met up with the others again, they bombarded us with questions. We just brushed them off, saying it was about the expedition and what happened in our groups. They believed it, and I sighed in relief.
~ TIME SKIPPPPP YEEEE HAWWWW ~
It's the next day, and Hange has called us in, with a solemn, dreaded look on her face. It is not quite all of us, but me, Levi, Erwin, Moblit, Mike, Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, Jean, Ymir, Krista, and Connie. I already knew what it was for, but the others were confused as heck.
"Why are we here?" I heard Connie mumble to Jean, who just shrugged in return.
"Ugh, I'm soooo hungryyy," Sasha whines.
"You just ate!" Armin protests.
"I barely ate anything!"
"You ate your food, Mikasa's food, AND Y/n's food."
"My point exactly." I just roll my eyes at her, chuckling.
At the front, Erwin clears his throat, capturing everyone's attention.
"I have gathered you all here today because we believe we know who the female titan is." Gasps emerged from around the room. "Now, as unlikely as it may seem, we have many reasons to believe it's true." He takes a deep breath, knowing that people are going to contradict this decision.
"We believe it is Annie Leonhart."
"WHAT?!" Eren yells, and I flinch at the sound proximity. "You can't be serious!"
"Eren, please don't-"
"No! This is ANNIE we're talking about! Annie! Our friend!"
"Now THATS up for discussion," I mumble, but Eren didn't seem to hear me.
"She trained with us! She fought with us and went to the Military Police after getting in the top ten! It can't be her!" Eren continues, but gets cut off by Armin.
"But it's true, Eren! Can't you see that? There's too much evidence pointing towards her!" Armin says, and the others look at him, surprised.
"Armin, we are talking about Annie!" he then looks at me. "Y/n, come on. Mikasa? This is the same Annie we trained with for three years!"
Mikasa just looked down while I spoke up.
"Eren, stop just ignoring the evidence because she was our friend. You have to at least hear us out. We talked about this. That's why we were pulled out of lunch the other day- the Commander and the others asked me and Armin who we though the female titan was. We both said it was Annie. There's so much evidence showing it's her." I explain and I sense hopelessness and disbelief in him.
"Seriously you guys? Seriously?" he quietly says.
"Just go with our plan, okay? Just go with it. If it doesn't work how we think it will, then that means she isn't the female titan, and we can all be happy again, or whatever. But, if it does work how we think it will, there is no denying she is. Trust me. I know that Annie is the female titan, and if you don't want to believe it now, you'll see the proof and believe it later." I say, and I walk out as the plan is explained to the rest of them. I go up to my room, and lay down on the bed, for some reason praying that Annie isn't the female titan. Even though I know it's completely hopeless, I pray that she isn't, and with that, I drift asleep.
