Y/n's POV:
"SASHA PUT THE BREAD BACK BEFORE CAPTAIN GETS IN HERE!" I hear Connie yell through fits of giggles while Eren sighs and rolls his eyes. Mikasa and Historia walk in, Mikasa doing most of the work because everyone loves Historia (the angel).

"Mikasa! You should be resting! Give me that!" Eren says, trying to help Mikasa out.

"No Eren, I'm fine."

"But you have to be resting!"

"Eren you might as well be talking to a door. Im pretty sure I saw her doing push-ups earlier." Armin says, continuing his cleaning.

"I- What?!" Eren sputters. Mikasa wasn't supposed to be doing this stuff. Then again, neither was I, but here I am.

"Y/n shouldn't be doing anything either." Jean points out.

"What can I say? Im a stubborn person." I say with a smirk on my face. Jean just rolls his eyes. All of a sudden, the door bursts open.

That can only mean one thing.

"Captain Levi!" Eren says, looking slightly worried. I mean, I don't blame him. Their side of the house looked messier than mine. Levi narrows his eyes and walks over the the table, brushing a finger under it to 'dust check' as he calls it.

A whole ass coat of dust comes off.

"You call this CLEANING?" Levi asks. "Look at Y/n's side! If a blind girl can do better than you lot, then that's just sad."

Silence.

My eyes widen and I look at Levi. I can tell he did it on purpose. I guess it makes sense; we're a team now. No secrets.

But I wasn't expecting to tell everyone like this.

"Haha... um, Y/n? He's kidding, right? This is the part where you go 'hey that's rude!' or something like that..." Sasha trails off. I sigh.

"No. He's not kidding." I say, firmly.

Protests erupt.

"But how-?"
"You can literally fight."
"That's not even possible!"
"For how long?"
"You can't be blind AND better than me! I'm not that bad!"

"For one, Eren, you ARE that bad." I say, smirking. He pouts. "Two, I've been blind my whole life. I've just learned echolocation and other stuff to help me out." They still look skeptical. I mean, I don't blame them.

I know i'm done for.

"Blind...? There's no..." Eren mumbles to himself, then turns to look at me. My eyes are fixated to the floor. "Y/n, are you...?" he leaves the question hanging, hurt evident in his voice.

I don't answer.

"You didn't tell me? You didn't tell any of us?"

I can sense the others getting upset as well.

"I-i'm sorry Eren. I truly am." I can sense Levi heading out, leaving us to handle the situation.

Thanks a lot, Levi. I think, but I did have to tell them at some point, and the sooner the better, I guess.

"But why? Did you not trust us?" Jean asked, coming a bit closer.

"No, it's not that." I reply, still looking down.
