You head to the Lab. Tony isn't there, Bruce wasn't sure where he was either. You go and check his room, you knock on his door.
"Yes?"
You stay silent and knock again, hoping he will open the door and not just ignore you.
The door opens.
"I was hoping we could talk?"
He thinks for a second then stands back allowing you to walk in.
You look around, impressed by his room.
"Nice view"
He ignores you
"What do you want to talk about Miss Hunter?"
"Maybe starting with what the hell is going on? you were acting strange at the party, you avoided talking to me earlier, you haven't wanted to do any tests, check everything's been ok, its not like you Mr Stark. Whats happened? Have i done something wrong?"
He sits down on the end of his bed,rubbing his temples with his fingers.
You sit next to him and place your hand on his leg
"Talk to me Tony please"
He quickly gets up
"i don't know if you will understand"
"Well try me?"
"Can i ask you a question first?"
"Sure"
"You and Cap? Is that a thing now?
He pours himself a drink and downs it
"I saw you leave his room this morning, that along with your eyes changing colour whilst you were with him..."
"What!?" "Is that what this is about? Steve?"
You look at him confused
"What does Steve have to do with this? Is it because you think it was him that helped me and not your serum? Thats crazy and very selfish Mr Stark"
"You know he's been making sure I'm ok, he's worried about me having another bad reaction, he cares about me Tony, its a lot more than can be said for you lately"
"Well he's Obviously doing a great job, better than i have, he made your eyes change colour, i couldn't do that with the serum"
"How do you know that's what happened? You didn't give me a second to even explain anything to you, you haven't even checked on me since i saw you yesterday, not made sure i was ok after the last dose, nothing, is that it, now its all done, you just don't care anymore?"
"Well, if it is all over and you don't need to do anything else, then i may as well leave, go back into hiding, then you don't need to protect me from Hydra, everyone wins!"
"No! I don't want you to leave, if anything I'm keeping my distance because i...."
"What Mr Stark, say it"
"Because I'm getting too close to you Miss Hunter, i can't stop thinking about you, but you obviously have a connection to Rodgers so I'm keeping my distance, for everyones sake"
You're heart beats faster, you shake your head.
"So thats it!? You think my eyes changed colour because i had Sex with Steve, because i have feelings for him?" You laugh "i don't have emotions like a normal person Mr Stark? Do you not remember the whole purpose of your "experiment""
"its the only explanation for it, you may not feel it now, but there has to be a connection between you"
You interrupt and shout
"He called me by my name Tony! He called me Arielle!"
He turns to you, looking at you in silence
"Ive been thinking about it all day, it happened straight after he said it, i felt this warmth over my body, i felt a belonging! It makes sense, Its the only part of me that i had chosen to keep locked away, everything else had been chosen for me, i have a connection to my name Mr Stark, not to Steve"
"How could i even have feelings for him, I don't understand most of my emotions"
"Exactly! So you can't be sure you don't"
You can feel yourself getting angry
"nothing comes close to the feeling i get when I'm around you! Thats why!" You blurt out
Your heart feels like its going to break out of your chest
He walks over to you
"So its true?"
"Is what true?"
"Nat told me you felt something when you were with me, even before we started the serum, is it true?
He puts his hand on your face. You look down
"Well she shouldn't of, i shouldn't of told her! I shouldn't of told you! I don't know what it means" your anger is building, you pull away from him.
"It's fine, we can work it out" he tries to calm you down
"No! Whatever it is causes me more confusion than anything else I've experienced so far, that's why i didn't say anything, i can't face whatever it is, not now!" You start feeling dizzy, your vision becomes blurry and the ground starts to shake.
You look at Tony and run out.

You head outside, the place you know where you can get some clarity.
You sit down. Bucky & Sam are training, you sit and watch them.
The distraction and the fresh air is helping to
calm you down.
You see Bucky wave off to Sam, he then starts walking in your direction.
"Hey H"
He sits down next to you
"Came to watch me did you" he nudges you and give you a wink
You force a smile then look down
"Hey" he holds your chin and moves your face towards him
"Whats up? This isn't like you?"
"And what is like me Buck?, Because enlighten me, it would certainly help to know"
"H, whats happened?"
You stay silent
"You are one of the best people i have ever met, you've been through hell, still going through some and yet you're amazing, you bring joy to everyone around you, i get you may not understand that you do but honestly when you're around theres just this light, You make everyone happy. Just because you will gain memories and emotions that you don't remember having, doesn't mean it will change the person you already are"
"so what's up, why the questioning?"
You smile at him
"Its just all so confusing Buck, i just wish it would get easier. I thought i would be flooded with memories and past emotions that i would have to deal with, not trying to understand new ones"
"What do you mean"
You proceed to tell him about your conversation with Tony.
"I can't even begin to understand whats going on Buck, my mind is scrambled and i can't make sense of any of it"
He lets out a little laugh
"Hey, this isn't funny, i was supposed to come here and get help, i think everything made more sense before coming here!"
"Its not that"
"Then what?"
"It was bound to happen, i just didn't expect it to be Tony"
"For what to happen Buck? What does everyone seem to get that i don't?"
"Im sorry H, It would cause more confusion to you if i told you, you need to work it out for yourself, but you will, eventually"
He smiles at you and pulls you in for a hug.
You roll your eyes "wow, Everyone around here is so helpful" you laugh
