Distraction

Its been just over 2 weeks since you left the tower Another day has passed without anything.
"Guys we need to do something, I cant sit around any longer"
"We have to, we have to wait" "were just as frustrated as you are" Loki replies
"But we can make it fun" Bucky comes in holding some bottles
"Thats what I'm talking about"
The three of you spend the evening drinking and playing games.
"I spoke to Tony today" you look to Bucky
"I thought this was supposed to be a fun night?"
"He wants to talk to you, he doesn't sound good H, i don't think he's sleeping, and who
Knows if he's eating either"
"He's just trying to make us feel sorry for him, obviously its working with you. Im sure he's fine, it's Tony Stark after all, give him a few more weeks and I'm sure he will stop asking after me"
"On that note I'm going to head to bed"
"H i didn't mean to upset you, i thought you should know"
"Im not upset Buck, just tired, see you in the morning, for another fun packed day!"
Loki waits for you to leave-
"You really think that's what she needed to hear? She was having a good night, probably the first distraction shes had since being here, and you bring up Tony, I'm sure that could of waited"
"I know i know, i wasn't thinking, he just seems in a bad place, i thought if she knew she might want to... oh i don't know what i thought, I've had too much of this" he holds up an empty bottle!
"See you in the morning Loki"
Loki sits for a while, wondering whether to go to bed or stay up longer, he decides to go and check on you.
You're sitting up in bed, You see the door push open slightly.
"I didn't know if you'd be asleep yet, thought i would just check to see you're ok?"
"And why wouldn't i be?"
He gives you a look
"The same reason your sitting up in bed and not sleeping"
You rest your head on the wall behind you and close your eyes.
"I try to not think about him Loki, i try so hard, then something always brings him back into my mind. I just need a distraction to get him out of my head, lets hope we aren't waiting to much longer until we find something"
Loki comes to sit next to you.
"I can think of a distraction"
"Oh yes? And what would that be?"
He looks you up and down, and raises his eyebrows.
"just a distraction, nothing else, i could certainly do with one too"
You smile, its always worked in the past, and you know how good he is, but Tony? You shake your head, That's exactly the reason you need the distraction, a distraction from thinking about Tony.
You put your hand on Lokis face
"God i want to" you look at his lips then back to his eyes. You sigh.
"But i can't"
He smiles at you
"He's a lucky man"
You lay on Loki's chest
"I wish i could just forget him, i really do"
"Will you stay with me tonight? I don't really feel like being alone"
He pulls his arm around you and tucks you into him.
"For as long as you need"
You lay awake for a while, feeling him stroking your hair, even though the thought pains you, every bit of you wishing it was Tony.

You wake up to Bucky shouting you. It takes your mind a moment to catch up, when it does you wake up Loki and head downstairs.
You walk through the door and Bucky's back to you, you can hear him talking
"So how sure are you?" Bucky asks
"Certain" You hear Tonys voice.
Bucky turns to you
"Ah there you are, we have news"
You barely hear what Bucky has to say, you stand in the door way, staring at the projection of Tony, he doesn't look like the same Tony he did a few weeks ago, Bucky was right.
He looks to you, you snap out of your trance and walk off into the kitchen, his stare following you.
"Sorry Bucky, what did you say?"
"We have good news, One of the drones picked up on a vehicle coming into a facility, the first movement we've had since looking"
"Arielle" your heart skips, you tightly squeeze your eyes, you don't turn around, Tony continues talking
"Arielle, i'm certain this is where she will be. Steve recognised one of the guards, the vehicle matches the one they took you in, if shes anywhere, it will be here, we just need to make a plan and...."
you walk over to the table
"We will take it from here" you look him in his eyes and turn it off.
You turn to Bucky, you see Loki standing in the doorway.
"Now can we go?"

BEEP BEEP BEEP
The sound has woken Tony up, he's been sleeping in his lab for the best part of 2 weeks, each day spending hours upon hours looking for Hydra.
He startles awake and runs over to his desk, flashing red he can see a sensor has been tripped, he brings up the footage from the drone and zooms in, a jeep, driving up to the tunnel, he looks at the time 4.15am.
He watches them drive up to the entrance if the tunnel and stop. A moment later a figure gets out of the car, Tony zooms in. He smiles to himself and goes to wake up Steve.
"Do you see what i see?"
"The jeep?"
"The same one as before" Steve nods He continues to watch the footage, he zooms in as far as he can.
"Ive seen him before" he points to the figure on the screen "he was on the floor when i found Hunter"
Tony leaps up
"If shes anywhere Cap, shes in there!"
"Tony, even if she is, it doesn't mean this will be simple, were in for a huge fight"
"Well then lets get ready, i will inform them of what we've found and tell them our plan"
"And you're sure?"
"We have to try"
Steve leaves to let the team know while Tony calls the cabin.
Tony paces as it calls through to the cabin, going over the plan in his mind, the call connects, he waits anxiously hoping its you that answers
"Tony? Everything ok?"
Tony sighs "Barnes"
"We have news, we've found where they're hiding, We recognise the vehicle and a soldier, this is the first bite we've had. If shes still with them, It has to be where she is!"
"One second Tony"
"H" "H wake up, you need to hear this! H"
"Carry on"
"How is she Bucky?"
"She's ok, holding up for now, and you? You've looked better"
He rubs his stubble "i've been better"
Bucky hears you making your way downstairs.
"So how sure are you?"
"Certain"
Tony looks up and makes eye contact with you, his heart stops, oh how he misses you. He watches you walk away. After explaining everything to you, he sees you walk over to him, he has a slight smile, hope.
"We will take it from here" the call cuts off.
Tony stands, in shock before sitting in his chair, shaking his head. "This is defiantly not going to be simple"
