Second dose

You've all been celebrating Peters Birthday, Tony made him a new suit, Nat made him pancakes for breakfast, you and Steve made him a cake, that was supposed to look like a spider obviously, but it didn't resemble one at all, there were probably more ingredients over you both than in the cake, no one is even sure how we could mess it up so bad, but it tasted great so we were forgiven.
Peter hasn't spoken to you today, you've seen him shoot you the occasional look with a smile, but nothing, you wonder if he's nervous or rethinking tonight.
Tony joins you.
"Hunter are you Free?"
"I can be, whats up?"
"We need to give you some more serum"
"Sure, now?"
"Yeah now would be great"
"Can i come?" Peter asks "it is my birthday"
Tony looks at you, "its up to you"
"Seeing as its your birthday"
You all get to the lab
"Hey Bruce"
You sit yourself down.
"Hey Agent Hunter, you ready?"
"So do i expect the same? Nothing really happened last time, not that i feel any different anyway"
"It was a very small dose, we weren't expecting much, ideally you would have it all in one go, but Tony wants to do it over a longer period of time, so today we've upped the dose slightly, so lets hope you get some effect from it. Again, it will take a while to get through your system, so don't expect anything suddenly"
"Sure, whenever you're ready"
You watch Peter pot around the lab, touching things
"Peter, if you don't stop touching my stuff i will kick you out" tony turns and stares at him
"Oh Sorry Mr Stark" he quietly comes and stands next to you
"Wow! Thats a big needle"
You look at him, did he seriously just say that "Parker, what are you trying to do, you know thats going in me right!?"
"Oh shit, erm sorry Hunter"
"Parker, sit down and shut up" Tony walks over
Bruce injects you, everyone stays quiet
"We would like you to stay for a while today, just so we can run some tests"
A few minutes pass, tony and bruce are looking at the data.
Peter is staring at you
"Oh my god, are you ok?"
"Yes Peter I'm fine"
He looks at you concerned
"Hunter, You're crying"
"No I'm not"
He brushes your cheek "yes you are, you don't feel that?"
Tony looks up, "whats going on?"
"Well Apparently I'm crying, but i don't feel any different"
"Lets have a look"
Bruce scans you.
"You have a huge increase of brain activity, especially in the hippocampus, looks like this dose is working much quicker than the last"
You see a face flash
"What was that"
Everyone looks at you, "what was what" Tony places his hand on your arm.
You shake your head trying to remember "a woman, her face, just flashed in front of my eyes, she..."
you try so hard to remember and get the imagine back
"She was beautiful" thats all you remember.
Your eyes flash bright blue
"Mr Stark Mr Stark did you see that, did you see her eyes!?" Peter shouts excitedly
Tony smiles "yes peter, i did"
"I think you're starting to remember Miss Hunter"
"Who was that woman Mr Stark?"
He looks at you, not saying a word, his hand grips your arm tighter. You look at him
"Its my mother isn't it Mr Stark?"
Tears roll down your face, you cant feel sadness, not yet, but your body is starting to.
"I don't know if i can do this Mr Stark, I'm already crying when i can't feel anything, what happens when i do?"
"We take it slow, we wont push you, you do this in your own time" he wipes your tears away
"But this is good Miss Hunter, it means it works"
you force a smile
"What happened to her eyes Mr Stark? They were grey then the brightest blue i think I've ever seen" peter questions
"It seems as though they're triggered by Miss Hunters emotions, by any chance Miss Hunter, did you eyes used to be blue?"
You look at him. You pull out your necklace, "Yes Mr Stark"
"This is the only possession i hold from my past, the only slight memory i have, i heard a voice before but haven't heard it since, saying "the colour of your eyes" when i put it on for the first time in a while"
"Do you remember who gave you that?"
You shake your head
"No, but i think it was my mother"
