Good day, I am Mabel Osayi Osagiede. A normal girl like you all who is trying and making efforts to improve her spiritual life. I decided to read a spiritual book I found one day. The Author of the book is ELLEN G.WHITE. The name of the book is called "Patriarchs and Prophets".You might feel discouraged to check out the book but I won't lie. I'm learning a lot.
So I what to share what I've learnt in a way you also can understand. I hope you will be blessed.

Have you ever asked yourself why sin is in this world? We all say God is a Supreme being. The Alpha and Omega! But why did he allow sin into the world. If he is powerful, shouldn't he be able to stop and destroy sin?
I'm here to answer this. I've also asked this question and I want to share what I've learnt. 😃
So what's the answer to the question above?
It's quite easy to understand. But first, we need to understand the nature of God.
"God is love". His nature, His law, is love. It ever has been; it ever will be. The Bible says that the Lord's ways are 'eternal', 'everlasting'. You can check Isaiah 57:15, Habakkuk 3:6.
God can NEVER CHANGE. James 1:17. With Him "is no variableness, neither shadow of turning". God, my Heavenly Father can never change. Our Father "who does not change like shifting shadows".
The Sovereignty of God involves fullness of blessing to all created beings.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:1,2.
Christ, the Word, the only begotten of God, was one with the eternal Father-one in nature, in character, in purpose- the only being that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God". Christ had ever stood at the right hand of the Father.
However, in heaven, there was another angel, Lucifer. He was next to Christ and had been most honored of God. He was highest in power and glory among the inhabitants of heaven. But sin originated with him. He got envious and jealous of Christ and wanted to be exalted more than him. He soon aspired to be like God. He had something God didn't have and took advantage of it. That was DECIET and flattery. He disguised himself in a cloak of falsehood. By artful perversion and deceit, he cast doubt upon the plainest statements of God. He was able to falsify the word of God and turned some angels into the act of disobedience and rebellion.
He knew what he was doing was wrong but he had pride and refused to confess or ask for forgiveness.
One way Satan uses to get to us is by making us believe that it's too late to turn to God. No matter what sin you have committed. God still loves you. Turn to him. Confess your sin with an open heart and he will forgive you. Don't forget the parable of the lost coin Jesus had told in Matthew.
Now that we know the beginning of Sin. Why did God permit it?
God is love. Therefore, the LAW of LOVE being the foundation of the government of God. God desires from all His creatures the service of love- service that springs from an appreciation of His character. He takes np pleasure in a forced obedience; and to all He grants freedom of will, that they may render Him voluntary service.
The above may be too much to understand, let me break it down.
If you have a child and you love that child so much. Your greatest wish will be for that child to love you too. You won't want to impose your will on him/her because you want their service or obedience to you to be willing and from their heart. You want genuine love not one that is forced. To get that, you will have to give that Child a level of freedom. You will allow the child to have his/her freedom to either love you or follow another person. You grant that child a freedom of will so that when he chooses to love you. You will know its pure love from the depth of his heart.
This is what God wants from us that's why he granted us the freedom of will. We can choose to love him or not to. He won't force us.
So when Satan came into the picture, he didn't immediately destroy him. He wasn't quick to blot him out of existence. Or else, some angels and humans will serve God from fear rather than from love. Our love won't be sincere and true.
If you find out a president killed a citizen because he didn't obey him. You will obey that President, not because of you love or respect him but FEAR. You fear him.
God knew that would be the result and decided against it.
Satan claims that God is unjust and he has falsified the word of God. He wants to make God the loser. That's why he is after our lives. He wants us to sin and join his kingdom. So that when the judgement day comes God won't have much people at his side. God knows the beginning and the end. To bring the truth to true light, God wants to answer all the questions to the point we will have no doubt. For the good of the entire universe through ceaseless ages, God must more fully develop his principles...It would testify that with the existence of God's government is bound up the well-being of all the creatures He has made.
Our God, who ruleth in the heavens is the one who sees the end from the beginning. To eliminate all doubts, he allowed sin to reign. Now, those who choose to love and serve Him, will at the end see that his law is perfect. And he is just and right.
Now this whole experience will be testified in the new heavens and earth that God is perfect and everlasting in all his way. The Devil said he was unjust but the truth will be brought to light.
God's ways is perfect. Roman 8:28 says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that loves God; to them who are called according to his purpose". Amen!
I hope you understand. Thanks for reading. May you be Blessed in Jesus' name. I pray that you will find favour in the sight of God. If you are a sinner, don't be discouraged or down. Just kneel down, confess all your sins and ask for forgiveness. My God is a God of Mercy. He will forgive. 😊😊😊
Thanks for reading. ❤
