'I love you' - famous words. Is there someone who truly loves you? Whose love can never fail? Yes!
GOD IS LOVE. 1 John 4:16 says 'God is love'. Yes, God is love! Love is an essential property in God. It is his very essence and nature, inseparable from his being. He has incomparable incomprehensible love for us, which he demonstrated in the mission and mediation of his beloved son. 'For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life'.
Quote by C.S. Lewis - 'Though our feelings come and go, God's love for us does not'.
I just wanted to say and remind you that God loves you. And I want to ask, "Do you love Him too?"
The word of God reveals His Character. For instance, When Moses prayed in
Exodus 34:6-7
[6]And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord! the Lord! a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth,
[7]Keeping mercy and loving-kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but Who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children, to the third and fourth generation.
God is slow to anger, and of great kindness. He delighteth in mercy. God has declared His infinite love and pity. God is love. Evil has no place in Our Heavenly Father. God is steadfast in love. He is abundant in love. The love of God is like an endless sea.
The Son of God came from HThe Son of Godeaven to manifest the Father. Jesus came to live among men to reveal to the World the infinite love of God. The Devil is the enemy of good that blinds the minds of men so that they look upon God with fear.
Jesus came to reveal God to the world. St. Matthew 11:27 "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him".
Jesus describes his earthly mission in Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free".
Jesus spoke the Truth but always in love. Every soul is precious to Him. Jesus came to save You and Me. He loves us. He took the humble step by taking man's nature to reach to us.
Jesus, the tender, pitying Saviour was God 'manifest in the flesh'. 1 Timothy 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Christ was a medium through which God could pour His infinite love for a fallen world.
