We do!
That mission is to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Simply put, our mission is to share the good news of God's love, salvation and the second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Jesus is the unique source of Life and Salvation, and People need to know about Him.
John 3:36: "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life." (NIV)
• Jesus is the Divine Son of God.
• Jesus offers a unique Salvation— Salvation by Grace through Faith.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith— and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8,9 (NIV)
The offer of salvation includes everyone in the world. The truth is that God wants all people to hear the message— the good news that God offers a free salvation. We should gladly make Jesus our Lord and in gratitude follow Him. God calls believers to loving obedience and serious discipleship. Jesus wants us to live full and complete lives. In John 10:10, He says, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
We know this truth. It is time to SHARE IT WITH OTHERS. Tell the world that "We love because HE first loved us" (1 John 4:19, NIV).
May God give us the strength, courage and wisdom to share the good news with others in Jesus' name. Amen.
