Hey guys, I will be talking on Love; the Love of God. I studied on my own and compiled this message. I made it in a way that you can easily read and comment. LOVE: the Love of God

What is love? What is that first thing that comes to your mind when the word love is mentioned? What do you understand by the word love? Many people have different views about this word love. I made an internet research and selected two definition.

One says: 'Love' is the most powerful emotional human being can experience.

The second says: 'Love' is an intense feeling of deep affection.

However, the Bible say something different. According to 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, it says 'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails'.

That Biblical definition is deep. It holds the true meaning of love. Now, the questions are: Is there a love that never fails? Am I truly loved by someone? (Feel free to give your answers. Tell me what you think!)

I will do my best to clarify and answer those questions. Now I want to point out that GOD IS LOVE. 1 John 4:16 says 'God is love'. 🤔 Hmmm...What does that mean? Is God love?

Yes, God is love! Love is an essential property in God. It is his very essence and nature, inseparable from his being. He has incomparable incomprehensible love for us, which he demonstrated in the mission and mediation of his beloved son. 'For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life'.

I want you to understand what God is love means. I will explain it the way my young mind could comprehend. Now imagine this, that love is an apple...that means that apple is love. They are the same. So as God is love. It is in his nature to love men. God and love are together. You can't change it or separate them.

Now that I've explained that, I will like to ask; can you send your only child to a country at war? Can you risk your life for a friend? No! I don't know about you but I cannot do that. However, there is a God willing to sacrifice for us. It really annoys me to hear men say that they are alone. You are not alone. Even though you are locked up in an empty dark room, God is still there. He is watching you. His Angels are around you. God cares! Therefore, wipe those tears! Cry no more for you have a Father ready to love you. Tell him your problems. Ask and it shall be given into you.

Moreover, what truth is there that we can hold onto? What is there that can win my heart to holiness? What can sustain my soul in the sorrows and trails of life? Let me tell you something, God can never put you in a situation that you can't overcome. HE LOVES YOU. You are the apple of his eye. So if you are swallowed by the dark cloud of sorrow, believe and say to yourself, "God is love. He loves me" You will see the miracle in your life. God has enough love to share because he is love. No matter the sins you have committed, God will always love you. He will protect you because Love always protect. God will never fail you because Love never fails. I want you to know and believe in the depth of you soul that God loves you and it is time to love him back. He deserves all the praise and adoration.
