Sam was quietly sitting in her own thoughts while she was sat at a busy table of teenage girls, this wasn't fun for her to say the least. Kat had roped Sam into joining her to dinner with her other friends that Sam despised of, they were almost just like Kat but there was something different about Kat that Sam liked.

"Oh my god did you see Calum at football practice yesterday?! Those arms-" One of the girls who Sam didn't bother to learn the name of shouted.

"Is this all you guys talk about?" She groaned, slouching her shoulders down into the booth.

"What else is there to talk about?" Another girl pipped in and Sam rolled her eyes, not even willing to go on about how much more there is to talk about other than some dudes arms. The conversation about Calvin's arms, or what ever the damn guys name is went on for a while, but she just tuned them out luckily for her.

"I'm never going to dinner with your friends again." Sam groaned at Kat as they waited for the bus outside the restaurant.

"Aw c'mon Sammy it wasn't that bad." She pouted her bottom lip out and gave her best friend her infamous eyes.

"Yes it was!" Sam whined, crossing her arms over her chest like a little child would do.

"Fine, fine sorry for putting you through hell." Kat joked.

When the bus arrived they walked to the back of the bus and took their usual seat. They sat in silence for a few minutes until Kat decided to speak up, breaking Sam out of her sleep.

"Why do we always sit at the back of the bus like, why not the front or the middle?" She asked curiously, looking around the not so lovely looking bus. This question caused Sam to ponder for a minute or so, she never really questioned why they seemed to always sit at the back of the bus instead of the front or the middle. They just seemed to sit there with out thought, even back in primary school when they took the bus together they'd sit at the back.

"I actually don't know." Sam furrowed her eyebrows as she thought more about this question she was asked.

"You always seem to have an answer to everything even if it's sarcastic, you must be really out of it!" Kat joked again, pushing on Sam's arm softly.

They sat in more silence for a few minutes until Sam was the one to break the comfortable silence.

"Who the fuck likes the back seat?"

Later on that night Sam sat alone awaiting her father to arrive with some real food for her since she didn't really eat with Kat and her little friends. She scrolled through her Twitter timeline until a text from her father appeared on her screen, saying that he wouldn't be home until late again. Sam's dad is an extremely busy football coach so he's usually out coaching or setting up games and all that sort of stuff. She didn't mind that much, she loved her dad and she knew he loved his job with a passion but she wanted him home more recently.

Suspicious thoughts rolled through her mind since her dad had been out more than usual lately but she pushed that aside. Sighing to her self she grabbed her phone and started to text Kat, telling her to come over but she remembered that she was at Ashton's place tonight for God knows what.

"I need more friends." Sam mumbled to her self and as if on que Luke's name lit up her phone, she grabbed it hesitantly wondering if she should pick up or not.

"Luke?" Sam questioned, fiddling with the remote to turn down the sound of her music playing on her CD player.

"No it's fucking Obama." He answered with a chuckle, she rolled her eyes at his sarcasm since that was a speciality of hers.

"Aright then, Obama, what do you want?"

"We still have a project to finish." Luke said, there was a small sound of shuffling heard as he spoke into the phone.

"You can come over for an hour, that's all." Sam said and hung up with that. Minutes later he arrived, a large smile plastered to his face.

"Let's get started." He said, slamming books down on the table making her giggle slightly. They worked on the project for awhile until Sam was fed up with Luke's stare on her, he had been staring at her for a solid 5 minutes.

"Why do you keep starting at me? And don't you fucking dare quote The Fault In Our Stars."

"Because you're-" Luke started but Sam slapped his arm really hard and he threw his hands up in surrender.

"Fine fine. I've just been staring because I think you'd make a great model." Luke said in a serious tone, her eyes went wide and bursted into a fit of laughter.

"Who are you to say that anyways? Is it a sort of pickup line you use or something?" She started to calm down her laughter. He ignored her question and got up from the table, walking into the living room. She had thought he was leaving but sadly to her he returned with a large camera strapped around his neck.

"You just carry that around with you everywhere?" Sam asked, jumping of her chair and stepping towards the camera.

"Princess, I'm a photographer." He smirked, that little infamous smirk of his.

"You, A photographer? What do you take pictures of, naked girls?" Sam chuckled, her eyes still on the camera strapped to his body.

"Not everything I do revolves around women." Luke scoffed and lifted the camera up to his eyes, pushing her back a step.

"Let me take a picture of you." He said softly but she shook her heard furiously.

"No way buddy I don't know where your gonna put the pictures."

"Aw princess you don't trust me?" Luke smiled, his lips curving at the corners.

"Honestly, I've known you for a couple weeks so no. I barely know anything about you!" She yelled, brushing the hair out of her eyes.

"Let's get to know each other then." Luke shrugged simply.

"I don't think you get it, babe, I don't want to know you. You're only here because of a project and the only time I see you other than this is when you stalk me."

"Can we order pizza?" Luke asked out of the blue, her eyes went wide at his random question after the conversation they had just had.

"You're lucky I'm hungry as hell." Sam grumbled as Luke clapped his hands together with a bright smile. She grabbed her phone and dialled the closest pizza place, she ordered one medium pizza and two drinks.

"Don't forget the breadsticks!" Luke yelled as she ordered, Sam rolled her eyes and added breadsticks to her order.

They sat in silence eating pizza for awhile until Luke spoke up.

"So can we get to know each other?" He asked hopefully, a innocent smile appeared on his lips.

"It takes time Hemmo, it takes time."
