*Zuko POV*
I walked through the hallway carrying my stuff. It wasn't like my banishment was new. No, that wasn't the issue at all. The ISSUE is that Azula is coming to this school. I mean, I don't like being the school bully of anything, but I had to be. I guess that Azula can do that now. She's bringing the little girl group that goes with her everywhere. I swear, those three must be dating or something, because they are never apart. Except for they AREN'T. Mai and I dated for a while so that I could have a cover girlfriend. She didn't know that though, and she got super pissed when she found me with a guy. And she outed me to Azula, who outed me to dad. And now I have a massive scar on my face. Life couldn't get much worse. I sighed and walked into the dorm room. I wasn't the first to get here.

There was a ninth-grader in orange digging through his bag, and an eleventh-grader in blue spaced out. They both looked at me when I walked in. The guy in orange had a massive blue arrow on his head. A master airbender? What? That's a little weird. Don't ask how I know that. I got an education on the other nations before I moved here. But I recognized the other guy. Sokka. I'd had a crush on the guy since I moved here, but I'm pretty sure he's straight. He had a girlfriend last year. No bi-erasure, but I've never seen him with a guy. Plus, he probably hates me.

"Hello, Zuko here," I mentally facepalmed. That was stupid. He stared at me. But the airbender ran up to me.

"Hi! I'm Aang and this is Sokka! We're roommates now!" He seemed so happy, despite what my father had ordered to happen to his people. But they didn't know that. The news had made it seem like fires had just started. Oh shit. I could have ended up with literally anyone else, but I ended up with the only airbender in the school. Great. I need to say something.

"Hi, Aang. So, uh, did you guys want the bunk beds?" I wanted a bunk bed. But they didn't need to know that.

"I'm taking the single. You can have the bunks," Sokka got up and walked over to the single. I smiled. Aang looked really excited.

"YAY! I call top bunk!" He said and flew up to his bed. Sokka saw this and dropped back onto his bed. He groaned. Right, he's the only nonbender here. Whoops.
